WORLD.BIO.REFERENCE — Evolution & Endemism Reference Set (Almost-Code Canonical) — v0.1

CIVOS.VERSION-CONTRACT (LOCK)

  • CivOS.VERSION = v1.0
  • CivOS.MODE = almost-code-canonical
  • CivOS.STATUS = canonical
  • CivOS.SCOPE = BioOS (Global Reference Set)
  • CivOS.COMPAT = additive-only
  • CivOS.DOES_NOT_REPLACE = Place×Lane×Zoom×Role×Type×ID
  • CivOS.RELATED = WORLD.BIO + WORLD.ATLAS

WORLD.BIO.REFERENCE.PURPOSE (LOCK)

  • WORLD.BIO.REFERENCE = a small set of globally recognized “calibration ecosystems” used to teach BioOS patterns (isolation, endemism, speciation, invasion fragility, reef collapse, tundra constraints) without attempting full biodiversity coverage.
  • Rule = reference nodes are “lattice calibrators”, not rankings
  • Rule = each reference place defines a BioOS stress-test archetype

WORLD.BIO.REFERENCE.CLASS TOKENS (LOCK)

  • REFCLASS=ISO_END isolation + endemism
  • REFCLASS=RAD adaptive radiation system
  • REFCLASS=INV_FRAG invasion-fragility (biosecurity sensitive)
  • REFCLASS=REEF_SIG reef health signal system
  • REFCLASS=POLAR_CONS polar constraint system (energy-limited)
  • REFCLASS=MTN_GRAD mountain gradient (rapid niche stacking)
  • REFCLASS=LAKE_SPEC lake speciation system

WORLD.BIO.REFERENCE.NODES (v0.1 seed set)

1) GAL.Z3 — Galápagos (anchor)

  • REF.BINDS.PLACE = {GAL.Z3}
  • REF.PARENT = ECU.Z5
  • REF.CANONICAL = {GAL.BIO, GAL.HIS, ECU.ATLAS}

  • REF.NOTES = long isolation + unique lineages; strong invasion fragility

3) HAW.Z3 — Hawaiʻi (remote archipelago)

  • REF.ID = REF.BIO.PLACE::HAW.Z3
  • REF.CLASS = {ISO_END, RAD, INV_FRAG}
  • REF.BINDS.PLACE = {HAW.Z3}
  • REF.PARENT = USA.Z5
  • REF.CANONICAL = {USA.BIO (future), HAW.BIO (future)}
  • REF.NOTES = extreme isolation; adaptive radiations; invasive sensitivity

4) GBR.Z3 — Great Barrier Reef (reef signal)

  • REF.ID = REF.BIO.PLACE::GBR.Z3
  • REF.CLASS = {REEF_SIG}
  • REF.BINDS.PLACE = {GBR.Z3}
  • REF.PARENT = AUS.Z5
  • REF.CANONICAL = {AUS.BIO (future), GBR.BIO (future)}
  • REF.NOTES = reef health indicator; temperature stress visibility

5) ANT.Z4 — Antarctica (polar constraint)

  • REF.ID = REF.BIO.PLACE::ANT.Z4
  • REF.CLASS = {POLAR_CONS}
  • REF.BINDS.PLACE = {ANT.Z4}
  • REF.PARENT = WORLD.Z5
  • REF.CANONICAL = {WORLD.BIO (future polar module)}
  • REF.NOTES = energy-limited ecology; extreme constraints

6) SER.Z3 — Serengeti (trophic clarity signal)

  • REF.ID = REF.BIO.PLACE::SER.Z3
  • REF.CLASS = {REEF_SIG}
  • REF.BINDS.PLACE = {SER.Z3}
  • REF.PARENT = TZA.Z5
  • REF.CANONICAL = {TZA.BIO (future)}
  • REF.NOTES = not a reef; “signal system” for trophic webs + migration (TRN bridge)

7) AFR_RIFT_LAKES.Z3 — Rift Lakes (speciation)

  • REF.ID = REF.BIO.PLACE::AFR_RIFT_LAKES.Z3
  • REF.CLASS = {LAKE_SPEC}
  • REF.BINDS.PLACE = {AFR_RIFT_LAKES.Z3}
  • REF.PARENT = AFR.REGION
  • REF.CANONICAL = {REGION.BIO (future)}
  • REF.NOTES = rapid speciation laboratory (freshwater)

(You can keep the set small—Galápagos alone already “teaches” the reference-lattice pattern.)

WORLD.BIO.REFERENCE → CIVOS LANE BRIDGES (LOCK)

  • EDU = reference systems used as curriculum anchors (evolution, ecology)
  • SEC = INV_FRAG implies biosecurity load
  • FOOD = reef + trophic webs bind to food stability
  • TRN = migration systems bind to movement + inspection
  • GOV = conservation regimes bind to governance control

WORLD.BIO.REFERENCE.RETRIEVAL RULES (LOCK)

  • If a place is marked REFCLASS=ISO_END or INV_FRAG, prefer BioOS “introduced_to” and “endemic_to” bindings.
  • If a place is marked REFCLASS=REEF_SIG, require HAB=MAR|REEF nodes + habitat_integrity sensors.
  • If a place is marked REFCLASS=POLAR_CONS, require energy_constraint sensors (optional v0.2).
