How Museum Works | A Collection Is Not Preserved So It Can Never Be Used

A museum can preserve an object perfectly and still fail its purpose if nobody is ever allowed to learn from it.

Collections exist to survive.

They also exist to be used.

Studied.

Displayed.

Compared.

Photographed.

Taught from.

Interpreted by communities.

Use Begins With Purpose
