Route 1
Learn a subject
Choose English, Mathematics or Science when you can name the topic you want to understand.
Route 2
Make learning work
Use this route when understanding fades after class, revision feels endless, or the same error returns.
Route 3
Prepare for a decision
Start here for examinations, family choices and teaching support.
Route 4
Explore further
Follow your curiosity into education and the wider world.
How to choose a useful route
Start with one question. Read the closest guide, then try one appropriate next step. Return to this hub if the question changes. A hub helps you find an explanation; it does not replace your school’s current instructions or individual advice.
A practical example
A student who cannot begin a word problem may need help understanding the wording, representing the relationship, or recalling a method. Choose the subject first, then the learning difficulty; one low mark does not identify the cause.
For a wider view, use eduKateSG Learning Hubs. For an older or specialist page, use eduKateSG Deep Reading Index.
Did you know? You do not have to read a hub from beginning to end. Choose one route, use the explanation, and come back when you need the next connection.
eduKateSG · LEARNING HALL · PUBLIC LEARNING MAP
Start With the World You Are Trying to Learn.
A large educational library becomes useless if the reader has to understand the library before finding the lesson.
eduKateSG now contains thousands of connected pages: English, Mathematics, Science, Vocabulary, examinations, parenting, pathways, education systems, diagnostics and deeper research. That scale is useful only when there is a clear front door.
This page is that front door for learning. It does not try to show everything. It asks a simpler question first: what kind of learning problem are you actually here to solve?
Choose Your Learning World
Each hub below is a specialist doorway. It gives enough context to orient you, then sends you into the right subject, pathway or learning route.
English Learning
For reading, writing, grammar, comprehension, oral, listening, PSLE, Secondary/SEC, GP and professional English. English is the system that moves meaning between people.
Mathematics Learning
For Primary, PSLE, Secondary, A-Math and JC Mathematics; representation, algebra, problem solving, transfer, diagnostics and repair.
Science Learning
For Primary, PSLE, Secondary and advanced Science; models, experiments, evidence, data, explanation, transfer and recovery.
Vocabulary
For P1–JC, adult and career vocabulary, meaning, precision, retrieval, Fencing, lexical systems and VocabularyOS. Vocabulary is the distinction layer underneath much of learning.
Parents & Pathways
For PSLE transitions, Full SBB, PG1–PG3, G1–G3, SEC, IP, IB, alternative routes, post-secondary choices and learning support.
Education
For the larger question: how learning systems, schools, families, teachers, institutions and human development fit together across a lifetime.
Learn English through places. Curious about a city? Open the World City Vocabulary Directory, choose a country and try five words in a short description.
Explore Singapore through vocabulary and real places: Touring Singapore — 49 themed Top 100 Vocabulary guides connects visitor English with places, food, transport, natural habitats, history, arts and family learning. Choose a topic rather than treating the numbered days as a compulsory itinerary. Find detailed local articles in the Singapore Area Learning Index.
STEM Learning — One Grouping, Four Specialist Owners
STEM connects Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics when learning moves from evidence and models into design, tools and real-world systems. The grouping makes the handoffs visible without turning the four disciplines into one subject.
Science Learning
Primary to advanced Science, with How Science Works as the evidence-and-explanation apex.
Mathematics Learning
Primary to JC Mathematics, with How Mathematics Works as the conceptual root.
Technology
How knowledge becomes repeatable capability through tools, processes, interfaces, infrastructure and maintenance.
Engineering
How needs become requirements, designs, prototypes, verified systems and lifecycle responsibilities.
Use the subject hubs when the learner needs disciplinary progression. Use the STEM super-hub when the question crosses evidence, quantity, design and deployed capability.
The Subject Label Is Not Always the Problem
A Science student can lose marks because the English in the question was misread. A Mathematics student can appear weak because the representation never formed. An English student can fail to explain because the necessary vocabulary distinction does not exist yet. A child struggling across several subjects may have a transition, retrieval or load problem rather than four separate subject failures.
This is why the hubs are connected. Their borders matter for diagnosis, but learning itself crosses those borders constantly.
When the subject is clear, enter the subject hub. When the failure is unclear, do not guess.

A Library Should Reduce Search Cost, Not Increase It
The natural temptation in a large knowledge estate is to expose more of it. More menus. More links. More categories. Eventually the interface begins to reproduce the complexity it was meant to organise.
The better architecture is layered. The menu identifies the world. This page identifies the learning domain. The domain hub explains the terrain. Specialist hubs narrow the route. Individual articles solve one job well and point outward again.
Menu → Learning Hubs → Subject Hub → Specialist Hub → Article → Next Correct Route
That structure allows eduKateSG to grow without asking every visitor to carry the weight of the entire estate.
Beyond the Subject: The Learning System Around the Learner
Subject hubs answer what you are learning. These routes answer what to do when the problem belongs to the learner, the study process, the examination environment, the teaching relationship or the route through school.
- Student & Learner Hub — the student-facing front door for subjects, study, exams, recovery and increasing independence.
- Study & Learning Methods Hub — retrieval, spacing, variation, working memory, explanation and transfer.
- Diagnostics & Recovery Hub — locate the earliest broken link before adding more work.
- Examinations & Assessment Hub — PSLE, SEC and JC performance under timed, unsupported conditions.
- Tuition & Teaching Hub — when explanation, guided practice, feedback and specialist teaching genuinely help.
- Education Hub — the larger learner→family→school→pathway→adulthood system.
If you still cannot tell which world owns the problem, use HELP and narrow before choosing the next intervention.

- HELP — when you do not know where to start
A good learning map does not answer every question on the first page. It gets the reader to the place where the right question becomes easier to ask.
Spider / Web / Hidden / Deep Routes
Spider: enter English, Mathematics, Science or Vocabulary. Web: move sideways into Student & Learner, Study Methods, Diagnostics, Examinations, Tuition & Teaching or Parents & Pathways. Hidden/Deep: reopen the larger system through Education, I am Brave, or HELP when the correct owner is uncertain.
MATHEMATICS · SPECIALIST MECHANISM OWNER
How Additional Mathematics Works
For learners moving beyond the broad Mathematics hub into A‑Math, this is the canonical mechanism Hero for equivalence, functions, algebraic transformation, trigonometry, calculus, checking and transfer. Use the Additional Mathematics Hub when the next question is which topic, year level, examination route or support page to open.
Deep route
Most readers should stay inside the hubs above. For older, specialist or difficult-to-classify material, use the eduKateSG Deep Reading Index. It quietly keeps published Posts, Pages and Learning Projects reachable without expanding the main menu.
Tutor System | the human-support bridge across the learning hubs
English, Mathematics, Science and Vocabulary each keep their own subject authority. When a learner needs human tutoring across those worlds, use The Tutor System as the shared relationship layer. It connects parent, student and tutor roles without creating a competing subject hub.
Federated Depth Beyond the Learning Hubs
The eduKateSG hubs own the broad learning map. When a reader needs deeper specialist, recovery, library or local-delivery work, move to the bounded owner rather than duplicating that entire job here.
- English specialist depth: Singapore English Tuition Centre.
- Mathematics specialist depth: Bukit Timah Tutor.
- Learner-state and tutor relationship: eduKateSengkang Education Runtime.
- Recovery, rebuild and transformation: eduKateYishun Student Diagnostics Hub.
- Learning manuals and reference-library depth: eduKateSingapore Learning Library.
- Punggol-local family and tuition delivery: eduKatePunggol.
The complete ownership map remains the eduKate Ecosystem Hub.
Try learning through a country you are curious about: Crazy Rich World’s learning chapters connect English, Mathematics, Science and history with real places and everyday systems. Choose one example, ask one question and use the subject hubs here to work on the idea you want to understand.
When the Question Becomes Larger Than School
The Learning Hubs are the school-facing map. When the question widens beyond a subject, continue without losing the route back.
- Education Hub — how learners, schools, teachers, families and pathways fit together.
- World & Knowledge — ideas, disciplines, arts, information, science and the wider world.
- Research & Inquiry — evidence, uncertainty, competing explanations and how we know.
- What Is Civilisation? — how knowledge, institutions, cooperation and capability persist across generations.

Learn English through world destinations
A place can become a wonderful starting point for learning. Read a destination guide, notice a few useful words, then use them in a conversation or a short piece of writing.
Choose a published country collection: Australia · India · Japan · North Korea · Russia · Taiwan · Vietnam.
World Tuition reading route: For cross-country teaching and subject guidance, explore the World Tuition Master Hub, with published country guide directories for English, Mathematics, Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, plus China city guide links. National examination rules, real provider qualifications and any fees or availability must be checked against the learner’s actual school and location.
