The deepest test
The deepest mattress-planning problem is not simply disposal. It is matching a highly variable bulky product to a recovery system whose safe capacity is set by floor space, fire load, hygiene, labour and downstream markets at the same time. A programme that collects more units than it can safely dismantle is not successful circularity. The hub succeeds when every unit has a known status, every recoverable fraction has a real outlet, reuse is protected without compromising hygiene, and collection access can expand without turning the processing site into a combustible warehouse of stranded bedding.
