Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden by Car or Taxi | Cluny Road Entrance, Parking and MRT Backup

Singapore Botanic Gardens sign at Bukit Timah Gate, beside the entrance plaza.

Set your destination to Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden, 1H Cluny Road, Singapore 259604. For cars and taxis, NParks directs visitors to enter via the NUS Bukit Timah Campus approach from Kheam Hock Road, then turn right towards the Children’s Garden after the carpark gantry. Use the specific entrance name when booking a ride.

If you prefer to arrive by train, use Botanic Gardens MRT (DT9/CC19), Exit A, for Bukit Timah Gate and follow signs to the separate Children’s Garden entrance. Check the garden’s admission hours and the carpark arrangements before leaving, especially for a Monday or public-holiday visit.

  • Destination: 1H Cluny Road, Singapore 259604.
  • By car: Use the NUS Bukit Timah Campus approach as described by NParks.
  • Parking: NParks lists parking at the garden and at NUS Bukit Timah Campus, with charges.
  • MRT backup: Botanic Gardens MRT Exit A, then walk to the Children’s Garden.

Follow the Kheam Hock Road approach

From Dunearn Road, NParks directs drivers to turn right at the Kheam Hock Road junction to enter NUS Bukit Timah Campus. From Bukit Timah Road, its directions give a left turn at the corresponding junction. After the gantry, follow the signs and turn right towards the Children’s Garden.

For a taxi or ride-hailing booking, use the attraction’s full name and 1H Cluny Road. A general pin for Singapore Botanic Gardens may point to a different gate. Follow the posted stopping directions and agree where to meet once everyone has left the vehicle.

Check the current charges and carpark access before deciding to drive. NParks’ general visitor information separately flags the Children’s Garden carpark as closed on Mondays. If the garden is open for a designated Monday public holiday, confirm the parking arrangements for that date.

Check garden hours and entry before leaving

NParks lists opening hours of 8 am to 7 pm and last admission at 6.30 pm. The garden closes on Mondays except designated public holidays. Check the attraction page and notices if you are travelling for one feature or if weather may affect the visit.

Admission is free. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults normally enter when accompanying a child, and NParks directs adults visiting without children to consult the Service Desk. Check those arrangements before organising a group.

NParks describes the garden as wheelchair accessible. For a particular route, ask about the arrival point and path you intend to use. If water play is your main purpose, check the current notices and the attraction’s own rules before packing.
