City Hall MRT to Old Parliament Lane
At City Hall (NS25/EW13), use Exit B and walk towards the Civic District. Use the full address in your map and follow designated crossings. National Gallery Singapore and the Padang help you orient yourself, but continue to the signed Arts House entrance.
You can also approach from Raffles Place via the river and Empress Place. If you are meeting someone coming from the opposite side, send the address and door instead of expecting them to retrace your walk. If an event affects access, follow the current street signs and the organiser’s notice.
For a car arrival, check the event’s designated drop-off and the current access to Old Parliament Lane. Pick a nearby legal pickup point for the return if direct access changes.
Find the Chamber or the room on your ticket
The Chamber was where members of Parliament met in this building. Today, it is used for arts and other events. The Arts House also has other spaces, so the building name alone does not identify your performance room.
Look for the exact room on the event confirmation before entering. If you are collecting tickets, check the organiser’s instructions for where and when the desk opens. For step-free access, ask about the approach to your room as well as the entrance to the building.
If your plan is to see the building itself, check what is open to visitors on that date. An event room can be in use or open only to ticket holders. You can still take in the exterior from the Civic District approach.

Meet the group before the event
Send the event title, room and venue address together. A visitor who only hears ‘Old Parliament’ may stop at the neighbouring civic buildings. A message that names the Chamber is helpful when the event is in that room, while a screening or talk may have a different reporting point.

If you plan a walk or dinner first, choose a time to leave for the event. Use the walk to the building and the time needed to find your room as separate parts of the arrival.
