Punggol Coast MRT to Northshore Plaza | Bus 34, Samudera LRT and Where to Alight

Exterior buildings of Punggol Coast Mall in Singapore.

From Punggol Coast MRT (NE18), follow signs to Punggol Coast Bus Interchange and take bus 34 to Samudera Station Exit B, stop 65621. Check the current route and live arrival information before boarding. Use Samudera as the landmark for the Northshore Plaza area.

Northshore Plaza has two buildings. HDB lists Northshore Plaza I at 407 Northshore Drive and Northshore Plaza II at 418 Northshore Drive. Save the relevant address and shop unit before leaving the interchange, especially if someone is meeting you there.

The bus continues beyond Samudera. Look for stop 65621 in your journey planner and prepare to alight when the display announces it. A station name can appear at more than one stop, so the stop number helps confirm the direction.

Choose Northshore Plaza I or Plaza II

Match the shop address to 407 or 418 Northshore Drive. If the group is going for a meal, send the plaza number and a named outlet. “Meet at Northshore Plaza” leaves someone unfamiliar with the area to work out which building you mean.

When using the LRT instead

Samudera (PW4) is the nearby LRT station. If starting at Punggol MRT (NE17), use the LRT connection and check the current platform display for the service stopping at Samudera. From Punggol Coast, compare that transfer with the direct bus link from the Coast interchange.

Keep the last part of the trip simple

Use the signed pedestrian route from the stop to your destination building. If someone has a stroller or needs a step-free route, allow time for crossings and lifts. Choose a meeting point the whole group can find instead of meeting at an unspecified entrance.

A meal or a short waterfront visit can fit after the errand. Set a return time if you also have a campus appointment. Travel time includes the walk from the bus stop, any waiting and the route back to the campus room.

Check the return direction separately

Use a live journey planner for the return from your actual location. The stop used from Punggol Coast does not necessarily serve the return direction. Check the stop code and destination display before boarding.

If you choose the LRT on the way back, start at Samudera and plan the connection at Punggol. Use the full names when giving directions to someone who is less familiar with the two MRT stations.
