Title: BioOS Sensors — Universal Early-Warning Signals for Drift, Depletion, and Phase Drop

BIOOS.40::ONE-LINE

Sensors detect buffer thinning and regeneration shortfall before visible collapse. Symptoms are late; sensors are early.

BIOOS.40::SENSOR-GRAMMAR (LOCK)

Each sensor is a portable record:

SENSOR.REC =

  • ID
  • ZOOM ∈ {Z0 cell, Z1 organ, Z2 person, Z3 family, Z4 civilisation}
  • PRIM touched ∈ {LOAD, R, B, C, Φ, P}
  • SIGNAL (what changes)
  • DIRECTION ∈ {↑, ↓, oscillatory}
  • INTERPRET (what it implies in BioOS physics)
  • PHASE-RISK mapping (P3→P2→P1→P0)
  • ACTION-TYPE (non-clinical): {reduce-load, rebuild-buffer, restore-regen, decouple, reroute}

BIOOS.40::CORE UNIVERSAL SENSOR SET (CUSS)

These sensors exist at every zoom. Only the skin changes.

  • ZOOM: Z0–Z4
  • PRIM: R, B, P
  • SIGNAL: time-to-bounce-back after normal load increases
  • DIRECTION: RL ↑
  • INTERPRET: regen throughput falling or buffers thin

SENSOR.BIOOS.CUSS.04 — Buffer Drawdown Rate (BDR)

  • ZOOM: Z0–Z4
  • PRIM: B
  • SIGNAL: reserves consumed faster than replenished
  • DIRECTION: BDR ↑ (net negative)
  • INTERPRET: hidden debt accumulating; collapse delayed but approaching
  • PHASE-RISK: P3→P2 early; long negative BDR → P1
  • ACTION-TYPE: rebuild-buffer, reroute-load

SENSOR.BIOOS.CUSS.05 — Slack / Redundancy Loss (SRL)

  • ZOOM: Z1–Z4
  • PRIM: B, Φ, P

  • PHASE-RISK: P2→P1 and fast P1→P0 under shock
  • ACTION-TYPE: rebuild-buffer, decouple, diversify

SENSOR.BIOOS.CUSS.06 — Coupling Spike (CS)

  • ZOOM: Z2–Z4
  • PRIM: Φ
  • SIGNAL: more dependencies; failures propagate across nodes

  • ACTION-TYPE: decouple, reroute

SENSOR.BIOOS.CUSS.07 — Repair Queue Growth (RQG)

  • ZOOM: Z0–Z4
  • PRIM: R, LOAD
  • SIGNAL: backlog of repairs/tasks/maintenance that never clears

  • ACTION-TYPE: reduce-load, restore-regen, reroute

SENSOR.BIOOS.CUSS.08 — Threshold Crossings (TC)

  • ZOOM: Z0–Z4
  • PRIM: P
  • SIGNAL: sudden “can’t do what used to be easy” events
  • DIRECTION: step-downs in capability
  • INTERPRET: phase boundary crossed; system now in new basin
  • PHASE-RISK: indicates P1 or entry to P0
  • ACTION-TYPE: stop-loss (reduce-load), stabilize, rebuild-buffer

BIOOS.40::SAFE OUTPUTS (NON-CLINICAL)

BioOS does not prescribe treatment. It outputs route types:

  • ROUTE.reduce-load (remove/limit demands)
  • ROUTE.rebuild-buffer (restore reserves/slack/redundancy)
  • ROUTE.restore-regen (repair capacity/pipeline restoration)
  • ROUTE.decouple (lower propagation)
  • ROUTE.reroute (move load to safer pathways)
  • ROUTE.stop-loss (prevent further phase drop)
