Summary (LOCK)
CompanyOS maps an issuer’s real survivability (capability organs + pipelines) into a machine-readable lattice, then binds it to FinanceOS risks, events, and regime dependencies so “ticker narratives” cannot override reality.
This is the missing layer in most finance AI:
they analyze prices + headlines (Z5) and skip capability organs (Z2).
0) Coordinate Grammar (LOCK)
All issuer capability records:
Place×COM×Z2×O×ISSUER×ID (COM = CompanyOS lane)
Bindings into FinanceOS use:
...×FIN×Z1×O×ASSET×...(instruments)...×FIN×Z3×O×RISK×...(risks)...×FIN×Z4×O×DATA×...(macro prints)...×FIN×Z4×O×EVENT×...(policy/macro events)
1) CompanyOS “Capability Organs” (Z2) (LOCK)
A company survives because specific organs keep regenerating:
Z2 Organ Types
- ORG-OPS — Operations throughput (production/service delivery)
- ORG-TAL — Talent pipeline (hiring, training, retention)
- ORG-IP — IP / product engine (R&D, iteration loop)
- ORG-DIST — Distribution / demand capture (channels, pricing power)
- ORG-SUP — Supply chain reliability (critical inputs, redundancy)
- ORG-COMP — Compliance / licenses (regulatory permissions)
- ORG-FIN — Funding access (refi ability, cash conversion)
- ORG-CTRL — Governance / execution control (decision latency, quality)
Hard law:
If any critical organ fails without substitution → survivability collapses regardless of price.
2) Issuer Record Schema (CompanyOS Canonical)
ISSUER core
- issuer_id (immutable)
- legal_name
- jurisdiction(s)
- sector_tags
- primary_products
- critical_organs
[ORG IDs] - organ_dependencies (what each organ depends on)
- substitution_paths (what can replace what)
- fragility_flags (computed)
- phase_stamp
{P1|P2|P3}for issuer model confidence
3) Organ Record Schema (ORG)
Place×COM×Z2×O×ORG×ISSUERID-ORGTYPE
ORG fields
- org_id
- org_type (from list above)
- description (1–2 lines)
- throughput_proxy (what measures “it’s alive”)
- degradation_signals (early warnings)
- repair_actions (what restores it)
- dependencies
[DEP IDs] - failure_modes
[FM IDs] - binds_to_risks
[FIN×RISK IDs] - binds_to_events
[FIN×EVENT IDs] - binds_to_macro
[FIN×DATA IDs]
4) Dependency Records (DEP) (Z2→Z3 edges)
GLB×COM×Z3×O×DEP×_____
Types:
- DEP-SUP supplier concentration
- DEP-POL policy permission / exposure
- DEP-FIN funding channel coupling
- DEP-TECH platform dependency
- DEP-LOC location/geography dependency
Fields:
- dep_id
- dependency_type
- coupling_strength
{0–1} - redundancy_level
{R0–R3} - TTC_impact (does it shorten TTC?)
- mitigation_controls
[RULE IDs]
5) CompanyOS Sensor Pack (Org-Level) (v0.1)
COM-SENSOR-01: Organ Vitality (OV)
Output: OV ∈ {OV0–OV3}
- OV0 healthy
- OV1 drift
- OV2 impaired
- OV3 failing
COM-SENSOR-02: Dependency Concentration (DC)
Output: DC ∈ {D0–D3}
COM-SENSOR-03: Repair Latency (RL)
Time needed to restore a degraded organ.
Output: RL ∈ {RLA fast, RLB, RLC, RLD slow}
COM-SENSOR-04: Substitution Availability (SA)
Output: SA ∈ {S0 none, S1 weak, S2 partial, S3 strong}
COM-SENSOR-05: Governance Execution Quality (GEQ)
Output: GEQ ∈ {G0–G3}
CivOS mapping note:
This is where your “regeneration vs decay” lens becomes operational.
6) Phase Rules for CompanyOS (P0–P3)
P1 issuer model
- organ map exists but weak evidence
- missing throughput proxies
- dependencies not quantified
P2 issuer model
- each critical organ has:
- vitality proxy
- at least one degradation signal
- at least one repair action
- dependencies include coupling_strength + redundancy level
P3 issuer model
- stress-tested:
- “if this organ fails, what happens?”
- “how long to repair?”
- “what substitutes exist?”
- binds into FinanceOS risks/events validated against history
7) Binding CompanyOS to FinanceOS (the bridge)
Binding Rule A — Org → Risk
Every organ must bind to ≥1 FinanceOS risk.
Example:
- ORG-FIN (funding access) →
RISK×REFINANCING-WALL,RISK×LIQUIDITY-CLIFF - ORG-SUP (supply reliability) →
RISK×INPUT-SHOCK,RISK×GEOPOL-CHOKEPOINT
Binding Rule B — Org → Event
Events must specify which organs are impacted.
Example:
- “policy change” event → ORG-COMP + ORG-DIST
- “cyber incident” event → ORG-OPS + ORG-CTRL
Binding Rule C — Org → Macro
Macro prints are only relevant if they bind to a mechanism.
Example:
- ISM jump matters if it changes:
- demand capture (ORG-DIST)
- funding conditions (ORG-FIN)
- supply lead times (ORG-SUP)
8) Copy-Paste Register Blocks (Templates)

binds_to_macro:USA×FIN×Z4×O×DATA×CREDIT-SPREAD-INDEX
Template 3 — Failure Mode (FM)
fm_id: USA×COM×Z2×O×FM×_____-FIN-01
trigger: funding window closes
mechanism: cannot roll maturities → forced asset sale → ops throttled
TTC impact: shortens TTC to days
controls: [FIN RULE-T, exposure caps, hedge policy]
9) Failure Mode Trace (required)
Z2 funding organ weakens (OV2) → dependency concentration high (DC3) → macro tightening hits (Z4) → refinancing wall (Z3 risk) → forced selling channel opens → liquidity cliff → equity narrative flips (Z5) → price collapse is the symptom, not the cause.
Repair: extend maturities + buffer liquidity (ORG-FIN repair) + diversify funding deps + RULE-T truncation before TTC collapses.
10) What this enables with AI LLM’s (execution under rails)
A strong model can now:
- ingest filings/earnings calls
- extract organ updates (OV/DC/RL/SA)
- create EVENT + RISK bindings
- produce a Phase-stamped issuer health report
But it cannot turn headlines into action unless it updates:
- the organ map
- the dependency coupling
- and the verification circuits
That’s the CivOS moat.
