Education OS Index & Canonical Map

Education OS V1.1 — the full lattice: how all education modules connect across age, subject, repair, and life lanes

Purpose

This page is the canonical map of Education OS.
It shows what existshow it connects, and how to navigate the system without confusion, overlap, or drift.

If Education OS were software, this is the routing table.

Master Locks (global invariants)

These locks apply everywhere in Education OS:

  1. Education prevents self-decay.
  2. Education = capability regeneration (Acquire → Retain → Transfer).
  3. All learners move through P0–P3 phase flight.
  4. Failure is traceable; repair is engineered (truncation + stitching).
  5. Technology/AI is a module, never the definition.
  6. Independence is the success metric.

If a page violates a lock, it is non-canonical.

The Education OS Lattice (four axes)

Education OS is organised along four orthogonal axes.
Every page sits at an intersection of these axes.

Axis 1 — Age Phase (who)

  • Early Childhood Education OS
  • Primary Education OS
  • Secondary Education OS
  • Adult Education OS
  • Elder Education OS

Function: defines load profile, speed, identity risk, and transfer expectations.

Axis 2 — Domain / Subject (what)

  • Mathematics Learning Mechanics OS
  • English Learning Mechanics OS
  • Science Learning Mechanics OS
  • Humanities Learning Mechanics OS

Function: defines the internal mechanics of capability in that domain.

Axis 3 — Capability Infrastructure (how it stays alive)

  • Retention & Spacing OS
  • Transfer Training OS
  • Execution Discipline OS
  • Exam Flight Control OS

Function: keeps capability stable under time, variation, and pressure.

Axis 4 — Repair & Routing (how failures are fixed)

  • Z0 Gap Localisation OS
  • Education Repair Router OS

Function: prevents wasted effort and misapplied interventions.

Life-Lane Extension (Education for the People)

These lanes extend Education OS beyond school and career:

  • Health & Body Literacy OS
  • Money & Resource Discipline OS
  • Digital Hygiene & Judgement OS
  • Communication & Relationship Repair OS
  • Civic & Social Judgement OS
  • Survival & Resilience OS
  • Meaning, Hobby & Identity Continuity OS

Function: preserves human dignity and societal stability outside institutions.

Canonical Navigation Rules

Use these rules to move through Education OS correctly.

Rule 1 — Start with Phase, not Subject

Always identify:

  • the learner’s age phase
  • their current P-state (P0–P3)

Do not start with content.

Rule 2 — Diagnose before repairing

Before intervention:

  • run Z0 Gap Localisation
  • route using Education Repair Router

Never guess the fix.

Rule 3 — Stabilise before accelerating

Order is non-negotiable:

  1. Z0 repair
  2. Retention stability
  3. Transfer training
  4. Execution discipline
  5. Exam/control pressure

Skipping steps creates brittleness.

Rule 4 — Independence is the exit condition

A learner exits a module only when they can:

  • reproduce independently
  • choose methods without prompts
  • detect and correct errors
  • recover from mistakes

If not, they stay in repair.

Canonical Page Types (what gets published)

To avoid cannibalisation and drift, only these page types exist:

  1. Definition / Canonical Spine pages
  2. Age-Phase OS pages
  3. Subject Mechanics OS pages
  4. Infrastructure OS pages (Retention, Transfer, Execution, Control)
  5. Repair OS pages (Z0, Router)
  6. Life-Lane OS pages (Education for the People)
  7. Service pages (location-specific, non-theory)

Each page has one intent only.

Failure Trace (universal)

Every Education OS page must be explainable by this trace:

Z0 micro-gap → compensation → retention decay → error accumulation → load/variation trigger → phase break → identity damage → avoidance

Repair reverses it:

truncate → localise → rebuild → retain → vary → stitch

If a page cannot map onto this trace, it is incomplete.

AI Position in the Canonical Map

AI appears only as a supporting module inside:

  • Retention & Spacing
  • Transfer Training
  • Execution Discipline
  • Repair diagnostics

AI is explicitly not:

  • the definition of education
  • the source of answers
  • a replacement for generation
  • an authority over judgement

Independence gain over time is mandatory.

Minimum Viable Education (system-level)

A system is educationally stable when:

  • most people are P2 in life-critical lanes
  • learners can repair themselves
  • decay is detected early
  • acceleration does not destroy foundations

This mirrors civilisation stability laws.

Summary Lock

Education OS is a complete, navigable system:

Age phase × domain mechanics × anti-decay infrastructure × repair routing → stable, transferable human capability.

Schools are one module.
Technology is one module.
Education itself is the lattice that prevents decay.
