Admiralty Park is a 27-hectare park at 31 Riverside Road, with play areas that include 26 slides. NParks lists the park as open 24 hours, but its nature area operates from 7am to 7pm. A playground outing and a nature walk therefore need different timing.
The park is listed as wheelchair accessible, with an important exception: an unpaved path in the nature area is unsuitable for wheelchairs. Choose your actual route from the official map rather than treating the access label as a description of every path.
For a first family visit, start with one main purpose: play or a manageable nature section. Check current route notices and the return before adding a second destination such as Woodlands Waterfront Park.

Save the exact park location and identify the entrance nearest the section you want. Woodlands and Woodlands North MRT are listed as nearby stations; check the current final approach rather than assuming either exit opens directly into the play area.
The west car park is along Riverside Road and parking charges apply. Confirm current signs and payment information on arrival instead of relying on an old photograph of a parking notice.
A dated NParks notice lists Bridge C as closed for repair through 31 December 2027 and the north-entrance car park as permanently closed. Check the current notice map and alternative access before travelling.
Read the age guidance and instructions at each piece of equipment. The number of slides describes the park’s range, not an obligation for a child to try every one.
A child may want to repeat a familiar slide while another wants a different challenge. Give both room to choose, with an adult keeping supervision clear.
Keep slide exits unobstructed and help children wait for a safe turn. Decide on a gentle finishing signal before tiredness makes leaving more difficult.
Use the official map to choose a path that matches the group’s mobility and available time. For a wheelchair user, avoid relying on the unpaved nature-area path.
You can enjoy a short section without completing a circuit. Look and listen, pause where others can pass, and leave wildlife at a distance.
If children are already tired after playing, save the nature section for another day. Changing the plan is often what makes a family visit work well.
Work backwards from the nature area’s closing time if your route includes it. Allow time to return to the entrance and transport, rather than treating 7pm as the moment to start leaving a distant point.
Confirm food and any onward park visit separately. A nearby destination may need another crossing or a route affected by works.
Bring water, check weather and current signs, and seek proper shelter during thunderstorms. A focused visit to one part of Admiralty Park can be a complete outing.
