It reconstructs overlapping coastal, highland, Altiplano, ecological, political and evidence clocks, then asks what capabilities moved, what systems fractured, who carried the cost, and what survives into 2026.

01 · Object contract

This is a mountain–coast system, not a modern-country container

The primary field is the Central Andean coastal, cordilleran and Altiplano world centred on present-day Peru and Bolivia where the evidence requires it. The article may cross into Ecuador, the Atacama/northern Chile and northwest Argentina, or the Amazonian piedmont only when a dated connector—road, migration, trade, conquest, ecology or colonial administration—requires that interface. Local history stays with its owner object.

Before civilisation could route anything, the planet built the field

The Nazca Plate descends beneath South America, helping build the Andes while retaining a major earthquake and volcanic hazard field. To the west, cold Pacific upwelling sits beside an arid coast cut by short Andean rivers. Above are steep ecological tiers, puna grassland, glacial headwaters, intermontane basins and Lake Titicaca. Those conditions create opportunities and costs; they do not predetermine any civilisation.

The strongest continuity is often capability, not dynasty

The Central Andes is particularly good for the Genome model because the same capability can disappear from one political centre, remain active in communities, and reappear at larger scale centuries later. That is inheritance and recombination—not biological determinism.

08 · Capability, dependency and cost

Vertical distance makes EnDist visible

A coastal fisher, a puna herder, a highland farmer and an imperial storehouse may be part of one civilisation without sharing the same resource floor. The problem is transmission: can fibre, food, information, labour and authority move through mountains at the right time, in usable form, without destroying the carrier or receiver?

Central-Andes EnDist chain:
Substrate → production niche → carrier → route/pass/road → storage/buffer → authority/interface processor → receiver absorption → useful work → returned cost → next state.

The Qhapaq Ñan works because the road is only one layer. Bridges, tampus, storehouses, messengers, caravan animals, local labour and political permission turn physical path into dispatchable capacity. Likewise, a canal is not “water capability” unless rights, maintenance and timing still work.

09 · Receiver / Nobody

The monumental record is biased toward whoever could build stone

Receiver analysis deliberately moves the camera away from rulers. The civilisation is also the person repairing a canal, tending llamas, spinning fibre, carrying maize, maintaining a bridge, mining silver, speaking Quechua or Aymara in a city, or inheriting a shrinking dry-season water buffer.

10 · Fracture and repair

Collapse is usually a system changing shape

Caral centres decline but regional practices continue. Wari and Tiwanaku fragment but roads, crops, communities and ritual landscapes remain. Chimor is conquered but north-coast engineering and craft do not vanish. Tawantinsuyu loses imperial sovereignty yet Indigenous communities, languages and institutions persist through colonial violence and recombination.

Reverse Hydra test. Remove the famous capital from the model. If the explanation also deletes every farmer, route, shrine, workshop, language and local authority, the model was over-centralised. A valid chronology can survive deletion of Caral, Chavín de Huántar, Chan Chan or Cusco as a single node and still explain the wider field.

Repair rule: a declared reform is not a repaired system. For live governance, heritage, language, mining or water, the runtime requires RepairRate ≥ DriftRate and measures receipt at the household/community/ecosystem edge.

11 · Civilisation return effects

Humans did not merely adapt to the Andes—they sent forces back into it

Planetary inheritance is bidirectional. Irrigation changes valleys. Pastoralism changes grazing systems. Mining opens mountains. Roads alter movement. Colonial silver couples Andean hydrology and labour to a world economy. Modern tourism and conservation change the heritage landscape again.

The evidence clock must never masquerade as the ancient clock

Caral was not created when archaeologists excavated it. A Nazca figure did not come into existence when AI flagged it in an aerial image. Peñico’s 2026 offering is a 2026 evidence event about a much older ritual event. This distinction is central to V3.3/V4.3.
