Faber Heights Park Playground | Slides, Swings and the Ulu Pandan Connection

Three learners review open books together at a classroom table, with stacks of textbooks, stationery and a whiteboard in the bright room.

Faber Heights Park is a neighbourhood playground bounded by Faber Heights and Ulu Pandan Park Connector. NParks highlights its slides and swings and lists the park as open 24 hours. It is a useful choice for a local play session with the option of a separately planned connector walk.

Faber Heights Park is a different destination from Mount Faber Park. Confirm the full name and the Ulu Pandan-side location before setting your map; a search for ‘Faber park’ alone can send your day in the wrong direction.

The easiest family visit starts with the playground. Once you know how everyone feels, decide whether to add a short walk. That keeps the park enjoyable for children while giving adults a realistic picture of the extra journey.

CHAPTER 1 OF 4

1. Find the neighbourhood playground

Back to contents

Use the NParks navigation link to locate the park, then choose a public approach that works with your transport. Save the return as well as the destination.

The park boundary gives you a geographical clue: this outing belongs with Faber Heights and Ulu Pandan. It should not be confused with the hill walks and sightseeing associated with Mount Faber.

Check crossings and pavement connections on a current map. If someone needs step-free access, verify the particular approach; the brief official park page does not supply a detailed assessment of every path.

CHAPTER 2 OF 4

2. Enjoy slides and swings without rushing

Back to contents

At the playground, read the posted equipment guidance and choose activities that suit the children. A child who wants several turns on the same swing is already enjoying the outing.

Leave room around moving equipment and let others take their turn. Adults can help a younger child wait by making the sequence clear: watch the person ahead, then step forward when the space is available.

Plan the session around comfort rather than an exact duration. Heat, tiredness and the mood of the group will often tell you more than the clock. A happy short visit is a useful outcome.

CHAPTER 3 OF 4

3. Treat the connector as an optional second outing

Back to contents

The nearby Ulu Pandan Park Connector adds possibilities, but a playground visit does not automatically become a complete connector route. Decide on an actual direction, turning point and return before continuing.

For a first visit with children, consider a small out-and-back section after checking current access. Include the journey back to your original transport connection in the time budget.

Use the official PCN information and notices for any longer walk. The total length of a connector is different from the distance your group will travel from a particular park entrance.

CHAPTER 4 OF 4

4. Keep the arrival and return straightforward

Back to contents

If you plan to drive, establish lawful parking independently; this guide does not promise a dedicated car park at the playground. Avoid building the outing around an unverified place to stop.

The listed 24-hour opening does not establish the operating hours of nearby businesses or the availability of every amenity. Confirm a meal stop separately if it matters to the day.

Check weather and on-site signs, carry water and seek proper shelter during thunderstorms. Choose the playground alone or the playground plus a checked short walk. Both can be complete, worthwhile outings.
