If your household cannot find its CDC Vouchers, the SMS has been deleted or the website says the vouchers were already claimed, you usually do not need to apply for a new grant. Go directly to the official claim service at go.gov.sg/cdcv, select the relevant voucher tranche and log in with Singpass. Where the household previously claimed that tranche, you can retrieve the existing voucher link, which will be sent again by SMS. The official CDC Vouchers FAQ explains this process.
Check which voucher tranche you are using. The S$300 January 2026 CDC Vouchers expire 31 December 2026. The S$500 June 2026 CDC Vouchers expire 31 December 2027. A new S$300 tranche is scheduled for January 2027, as confirmed by the Ministry of Finance on 4 November 2026. As of 5 November 2026, that new January 2027 tranche has not yet been distributed.
Quick problem-solving guide:
- SMS deleted: revisit go.gov.sg/cdcv, select the same tranche and use Singpass to retrieve the link.
- Someone already claimed: check the claimant name shown after login and ask the relevant household member; do not assume fraud.
- Several separate households at one address: ask your Community Centre/Club about the additional-household process; for the 2026 tranche, the published application deadline is 15 December 2026.
- No smartphone or digital confidence: visit your nearest Community Centre/Club for assisted claiming and printed vouchers.
- Lost printed vouchers: ask the CC about reprinting remaining usable vouchers. Spent or used vouchers do not become a fresh entitlement.
- Voucher rejected at checkout: confirm the merchant accepts that voucher category and enough unused value is available.
- Need help by phone: People’s Association (PA) Contact Centre 6225 5322, normally daily 8am–6pm, closed on public holidays.
- Suspicious voucher link or request for banking details: stop and verify via official channels; call ScamShield 1799 if uncertain.

What CDC Vouchers Are Available Now?
CDC Vouchers are digital household support that can be spent at participating hawkers, heartland merchants and supermarkets. They are not bank transfers or cash reimbursements. Different tranches have their own issue dates and expiry dates.
As of 5 November 2026, these are the important periods:
- CDC Vouchers 2026 (January): S$300 per eligible Singaporean household; claimed from January 2026 and valid to 31 December 2026.
- CDC Vouchers 2026 (June): S$500 per eligible Singaporean household; claimed from 11 June 2026 and valid to 31 December 2027.
- CDC Vouchers January 2027: additional S$300 per eligible household announced; scheduled for distribution in January 2027, not available to claim in November 2026.
The April 2026 support package brought forward the originally planned S$500 January 2027 amount to June 2026. The July 2026 support package subsequently announced another S$300 for January 2027. These are separate decisions, not evidence that every household receives another S$500 in January 2027.
The current GovBenefits summary and MOF’s 4 November parliamentary answer confirm this sequence.
How to Claim CDC Vouchers for the First Time
Start by independently typing the official government short link: go.gov.sg/cdcv.
A household representative signs in with Singpass and chooses the relevant voucher tranche. Only one person representing a household needs to claim that tranche. After a successful claim, the voucher link is sent by SMS from the Sender ID gov.sg to the verified mobile number.
The CDC’s step-by-step guide explains how to select the household vouchers, receive the link and show the relevant QR code to participating merchants.
You do not need to download a separate mobile app merely to display the digital CDC voucher codes.
Can two members of one household each claim the full amount?
No. The benefit is allocated per eligible household, not per individual citizen. Multiple household members can share the voucher link, but sharing the link does not multiply the entitlement.
If one member has already claimed the vouchers, another household member using the official site may see the claimant’s name. Ask them to share the existing link or discuss household use.
I Deleted the CDC Voucher SMS. How Do I Recover It?
Use the exact process provided in the residents’ FAQ:
- Visit go.gov.sg/cdcv.
- Select the same tranche, such as CDC Vouchers 2026 (June).
- Log in with Singpass.
- Use the retrieval process for the already claimed vouchers.
- Receive the existing personalised link by SMS.
The retrieval is not a new payout. Spent vouchers remain spent, and any remaining balance stays with that household’s voucher set.
What if I have changed my phone number?
The official claim process may require mobile number verification and a working Singpass account. If the OTP is sent to an incorrect number, follow the official step to amend the number.
If your Singpass-registered number or device is no longer available, seek legitimate Singpass account assistance through Singpass or a supported community counter. Do not give another person your login credentials to obtain the voucher link.
The Portal Says Someone Else Already Claimed My Vouchers
This message does not automatically prove fraud. CDC says the portal can display the name of the household member who claimed the tranche on the household’s behalf.
First ask that person. For example, a parent, spouse, adult child or another member may have completed the household claim and forgotten to share the link.
If you believe the claimant does not belong to your household, do not start an argument or post their personal details online. Contact the CC or PA for guidance on household records and eligibility.
Separate households living at one address
The official FAQ recognises that more than one genuine household may be staying at the same address. For the 2026 CDC voucher arrangements, the additional-household process directs applicants to a CC before 15 December 2026, with supporting evidence.
You may be asked for your identity document and evidence showing a distinct household arrangement, such as tenancy documentation, proof of a previous residence or documents related to new occupancy.
The published date is specific to the 2026 process. Do not assume it automatically applies to all 2027 voucher exercises.
How to Get Help Without a Smartphone
Seniors and people who find digital services difficult can seek help at their Community Centre or Community Club (CC).
The official scheme says CC staff can assist eligible residents, including by providing printed vouchers where appropriate. Bring the relevant identification and follow the actual CC’s instructions.
If a family member or trusted person helps with the digital claim, the household should understand the process and keep control of its entitlement. Do not give an unknown person unrestricted Singpass access.
Can someone outside the household help claim?
The CDC FAQ provides an authorisation form procedure for non-household representatives to assist at a CC, together with required supporting documents.
A neighbour or volunteer should not simply use another resident’s Singpass account as their own. Obtain the correct permission and follow the CC’s supported procedure.
Lost Printed Vouchers: Can You Get Another Set?
Printed CDC vouchers have value and may be used by someone who finds them. The official FAQ warns residents to protect them as carefully as cash.
If the printout is lost, contact a CC about reprinting the vouchers that remain unused. The scheme does not automatically grant a second full set, and already spent voucher amounts remain unavailable.
Keep the voucher printout private. A clear photograph of its QR codes may allow someone else to attempt redemption, so avoid sharing it in public chats or on social media.
Ask the CC to check what remains, rather than assuming that a lost physical sheet has erased the household’s digital history.
Where Can CDC Vouchers Be Spent?
The vouchers have separate spending categories. For the June 2026 S$500 tranche, the official allocation is:
- S$250 for participating hawkers and heartland merchants.
- S$250 for participating supermarkets.
The January 2026 S$300 tranche was likewise split between two categories, with S$150 for each.
Use the government’s CDC Vouchers merchant finder to check eligible stores. A retailer’s informal claim that “we accept all government vouchers” is not sufficient if it is not participating in the particular scheme.
Can supermarket vouchers be used at a hawker stall?
Not interchangeably. Each category is intended for its designated participating merchant type. A person should check the remaining balances in both pools before visiting a shop.
A shortage in one pool does not automatically transfer unused value from the other pool.
What If the Merchant Cannot Scan My Voucher?
First confirm that the vendor is a participating merchant for the correct voucher category. Check the unredeemed voucher value and whether the QR code is displayed clearly.
The CDC resident guide instructs residents to choose voucher denominations and present the QR code for the merchant to scan.
If the merchant’s device or network fails, ask them whether another accepted payment method is needed and avoid repeatedly allowing the same voucher to be scanned without checking the transaction status.
If a voucher appears redeemed but the shop says the transaction did not complete, ask the merchant to verify its record, then use the PA support channel if the matter cannot be resolved.
How do I verify redemption?
The official FAQ says redeemed vouchers display the merchant name and transaction time, and the resident can review transaction history through the voucher page.
Do not rely on a screenshot of a balance saved days ago. Check the current status on the legitimate voucher link.
Can I Get Change From CDC Vouchers?
The scheme’s terms and conditions state that unused value in an individual voucher is not refunded as cash.
For example, if you present a S$10 voucher for S$8 of eligible goods, you should not expect S$2 cash change. Choose the denomination or combination of vouchers carefully and ask the merchant about the transaction amount before scanning.
The vouchers also cannot be exchanged for cash or gift vouchers, and reselling them is not allowed under the published terms.
What Can’t CDC Vouchers Buy?
CDC’s official terms exclude purchases such as lottery products, petrol, diesel, alcohol and cigarettes. The scheme is intended for ordinary eligible purchases at participating outlets under its rules.
An item being sold in a participating supermarket does not automatically mean the item is eligible. The product restrictions still apply.
Do not ask a merchant to bypass the restrictions or process a sham transaction in exchange for cash.
The January 2027 Voucher Announcement Explained
This is particularly important because older articles and messages may contain outdated dates.
The original Budget 2026 announcement scheduled S$500 for January 2027, but the Government moved that amount to June 2026. Afterward, it announced an additional S$300 for January 2027.
The MOF answer dated 4 November 2026 explicitly confirms both actions.
Thus the correct position as of 5 November 2026 is:
- The S$500 originally expected in January 2027 has already been distributed in June 2026.
- An additional S$300 is scheduled for January 2027.
- The detailed claiming instructions for that new tranche should be checked when the official 2027 process opens.
- Existing 2026 voucher expiry dates still apply to their own tranches.
Do not promise that a new January tranche is claimable before its announced distribution date.
CDC Vouchers Versus GST Voucher and Other Payments
CDC vouchers are for household spending at participating merchants. GST Voucher Cash, Assurance Package Cash and other GovBenefits payments are different programmes, often linked to individual eligibility and payment methods.
If you are looking for a missing government cash payout, check GovBenefits, not just the CDC voucher claim page.
The broader How Singapore Works | GST Voucher, Assurance Package and GovBenefits Payments article explains the separate cash schemes.
Similarly, a U-Save utilities credit is applied to an eligible utility account and is not added to the household’s CDC shopping voucher balance.
How to Avoid Fake Voucher Claim Messages
The scheme’s official security information says the legitimate voucher link issued after claiming should begin with https://voucher.redeem.gov.sg/ and arrive via the gov.sg SMS Sender ID.
Government messages will not ask you to transfer money, supply banking credentials or pay an “activation fee” to claim CDC vouchers.
Start by typing go.gov.sg/cdcv yourself. Avoid an unsolicited shortened link or a page that impersonates Singpass.
If you have entered bank credentials on a suspicious page, contact your bank immediately. For scam advice, ScamShield 1799 is the official 24-hour helpline.
Who to Contact When the Application Still Fails
The official CDC how-to guide lists the PA Contact Centre at 6225 5322. Its usual hours are 8am to 6pm daily, with shorter hours on certain festive eves and closure on public holidays.
You can also visit the nearest Community Centre/Club for assistance. When calling, explain:
- Which tranche you selected.
- Whether you were claiming for the first time or retrieving a link.
- What the error message said.
- Whether another member of the household has already claimed.
- Whether the issue concerns mobile verification, printing or merchant redemption.
- What help you need and how the service may contact you safely.
Do not read your Singpass password or OTP to an officer or unknown caller. Those credentials are not needed for an ordinary enquiry.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I retrieve a deleted CDC voucher SMS?
Visit go.gov.sg/cdcv, select the original tranche and use Singpass to retrieve the existing household voucher link.
What is the expiry date for January 2026 CDC vouchers?
31 December 2026.
When do the June 2026 S$500 CDC vouchers expire?
31 December 2027.
Is there another S$500 in January 2027?
The originally scheduled S$500 was brought forward to June 2026. An additional S$300 is scheduled for January 2027 under the later support package.
Can I use both voucher categories in one purchase?
A participating merchant must accept the relevant category. The merchant and supermarket pools are separate and cannot simply be exchanged.
Does each family member receive the full CDC amount?
No. It is a household entitlement.
Can a household have more than one claimant?
Only one household member needs to claim on behalf of the household. Others may receive the shared link, but that does not create another full entitlement.
Do I need a special CDC mobile app?
No. Use the official claim link and the voucher page; an additional app is not required just to display the voucher.
What happens when printed vouchers are lost?
A CC can advise on reprinting the remaining vouchers. You do not receive a second full issue.
What is the help number for CDC vouchers?
PA Contact Centre 6225 5322, with operating hours confirmed on the official website.
The Next Useful Action
Use go.gov.sg/cdcv to claim or retrieve the correct tranche. Check its expiry date, share the link only with trusted household members and use the correct merchant category. If the portal still cannot resolve your issue, contact your CC or PA.
The useful outcome is simple: the household can access the vouchers already allocated to it without wasting time, losing value or falling for a scam.
