Orchard Road Parking Rates Singapore 2026 | ION, Paragon, Ngee Ann City, Wisma Atria & 313@somerset

Private car park in the Orchard Road area of Singapore.

Where should you park on Orchard Road in Singapore? Choose the carpark closest to the shop, restaurant or appointment you actually need, then check its entrance road and time-based rates. ION Orchard, Paragon, Wisma Atria, Ngee Ann City, Mandarin Gallery and 313@somerset all publish their own parking conditions. Charges vary by weekday, weekend, parking duration, lunch and evening bands, so there is no one carpark that is automatically cheapest for every visit.

The practical details are important. Paragon carpark access is from Bideford Road; 313@somerset uses Somerset Road; Mandarin Gallery offers entrances from Grange Road and Orchard Link. ION lists daytime and evening tariffs, Wisma has a lunch-entry surcharge, and Ngee Ann City publishes detailed time bands. This October 2026 guide compares the posted operator fees, accessible bays, EV charging and parking rewards without inventing a universal real-time vacancy count.

The supporting photos come from eduKateSG’s real October 2026 Orchard Road image collection, including a private parking area, a valet streetscape around TANGS and photographs of the actual mall exteriors. The pictures help visitors recognise where they are, but an exterior façade is not a photograph of the carpark ramp or proof of a particular live tariff.

  • ION Orchard: 2 Orchard Turn; Monday–Thursday first daytime hour S$2.73, with different later half-hour and evening charges.
  • Paragon: 290 Orchard Road; Bideford Road approach, S$3 first daytime hour and specified peak surcharge.
  • Wisma Atria: 435 Orchard Road; Levels 5–7 carpark, weekday first daytime hour S$2.60 and lunch-entry surcharge.
  • Ngee Ann City/Takashimaya: 391 Orchard Road; detailed weekday and weekend time bands on the shopping-centre site.
  • Mandarin Gallery: 333A Orchard Road; Grange Road basement and Orchard Link multi-storey entrances.
  • 313@somerset: 313 Orchard Road; Somerset Road carpark approach, Levels 6–7, overnight parking not allowed.

Which Orchard Road carpark should you choose?

Choose by the building you will actually visit. ION Orchard is at 2 Orchard Turn and convenient for its station-linked shops; Wisma Atria is at 435 Orchard Road; Ngee Ann City and Takashimaya are at 391 Orchard Road; Paragon is at 290 Orchard Road; Mandarin Gallery is at 333A Orchard Road; and 313@somerset is at 313 Orchard Road. These are different properties with different vehicle approaches.

Do not select a carpark only from a simplified chart claiming it is always cheapest. Parking fees depend on weekday or weekend, start and end time, duration, surcharges and rewards. You can pay less by parking near the destination rather than driving between several buildings and repeatedly starting a new charging session.

Save the approved entrance road and the official fee page before setting off. An attractive façade beside Orchard Road is not necessarily where a driver can legally enter the carpark.

ION Orchard: weekday parking rates

ION Orchard’s official visitor page publishes Monday–Thursday rates of S$2.73 for the first hour from 8am to 4.59pm and S$1.31 for each subsequent thirty minutes or part thereof. From 5pm to 11.59pm the published rate is S$3.05 per entry. After midnight, a separate hourly schedule applies.

These time boundaries matter. A car entering near the end of an afternoon band may be charged across a rate transition under the operator’s rules. Do not use a simple first-hour calculation for a visit crossing multiple bands without checking how the system treats entry and exit.

The mall lists vehicle drop-off via Orchard Boulevard at Level 2. Follow the current road signs for actual parking access rather than treating the drop-off lane as a place where a car may remain unattended.

ION Orchard is a major carpark choice for the Orchard MRT shopping cluster.

ION Orchard: Friday, weekend and public-holiday parking

From Friday through Sunday and on public holidays, ION lists a first-hour rate of S$2.62 between 8am and 5.59pm, then S$1.91 for each subsequent half-hour or part thereof. The evening band from 6pm to 11.59pm is S$3.82 per entry, with the late-night schedule separately published.

The weekend first-hour fee is slightly lower than the ordinary Monday–Thursday first-hour fee, yet the subsequent half-hour rate is higher. A shopper who compares only the first hour would miss that important distinction. The total cost depends on how long the car stays.

ION says the published charges include GST and reserves the right to amend rates. For a time-sensitive or long-stay calculation, use the current operator information rather than treating the figures as permanent.

ION Orchard EV charging and motorcycle rates

The mall’s visitor page lists AC and DC electric vehicle charging options, with prices per kilowatt-hour and advice to check the prevailing amount through FastParkNCharge or the charging station. Electricity usage is a separate consideration from ordinary carpark charges, so calculate both where relevant.

ION also publishes a motorcycle rate of S$4.36 per entry across the day, with operator conditions. Motorcycles have their own allocation and rules and should not be assumed to use the same charging basis as cars.

EV drivers should confirm plug compatibility, charger status and any time or idle conditions. A charging bay is not a general free parking entitlement for an electric vehicle.

ION+ rewards: how parking rebates work

ION+ Rewards members may be able to convert eligible points into Carpark$ under the current membership scheme. The operator states that one ION+ point converts to S$0.40 towards parking and caps usage at S$8 per visit. A member must register the relevant vehicle IU and complete activation and conversion in time.

The official conditions specify a lead time of at least thirty minutes before proceeding to exit for vehicle activation and Carpark$ conversion. A shopper should not wait until reaching the barrier before expecting an immediate rebate to apply.

Membership rewards are useful only when the shopper qualifies and has earned them. A rebate is not a promise of free parking for everybody, and earning extra points by buying unnecessary goods may not save money.

Paragon: parking entrance from Bideford Road

Paragon’s official directions are clear: the taxi stand, drop-off and carpark approach are on Bideford Road. This is different from its prominent Orchard Road retail entrance. Drivers should use the correct road rather than attempt an unsafe stop next to the main façade.

The published rate for the first hour is S$3, with S$1.60 for each subsequent half-hour or part thereof during the day. From 5pm to 2.59am, the operator lists S$4.60 per entry. The ordinary posted schedule distinguishes Mondays–Saturdays and Sundays or public holidays.

Paragon’s shopping entrance is an excellent photo subject, but it is not a carpark instruction sign. Our October 2026 image accurately shows the mall exterior without pretending it depicts the Bideford Road vehicle ramp.

Paragon Orchard Road mall entrance

Paragon peak-hour surcharge: an easily missed cost

Paragon publishes an additional S$2.10 peak-hour surcharge from 11am to 3pm, in addition to the applicable ordinary parking charges. Its terms use separate rules for the time bands and reward eligibility. For a weekday lunch or long shopping outing, that extra amount may materially change the total.

Do not conclude that a two-hour visit will always cost only two times the first-hour amount. Parking charges use first-hour and subsequent-half-hour steps, and a surcharge may apply. Where a stay crosses bands, consult the operator’s current examples or parking information.

If your visit is primarily a meal, compare the convenience of the Bideford Road carpark with the alternative of taking Orchard MRT. Transport choice should fit the actual party and purchases.

Paragon parking rewards: check the membership terms

Paragon Club offers parking credits and selected vouchers under its member programme. The official 2026 terms explain that points can be converted into monetary parking credits, and some e-vouchers provide specified complimentary hours. The entitlements, validity dates and order in which credits are deducted are governed by rules.

An advertised ‘free two hours’ benefit is not a universal pass that waives all surcharges or every later period. The official terms include examples where a peak-hour surcharge or additional parked duration remains payable.

Before relying on a promotion, verify membership status and whether the selected benefit has been redeemed correctly. Take the time to understand the reward instead of guessing at the exit barrier.

Wisma Atria: parking on Levels 5 to 7

Wisma Atria lists its carpark on Levels 5 to 7 and says there are approximately 290 parking spaces. From Monday to Friday before 5pm the official rate is S$2.60 for the first hour and S$1.70 per subsequent half-hour. After 5pm it is S$5 per entry.

The carpark’s position on upper floors makes it different from a basement carpark. Follow the signs and use the correct lift bank when returning with groceries, strollers or shopping bags. A high-level parking area may be convenient for the shops on upper floors, but that depends on the destination.

The venue describes motorcycle and electric-vehicle facilities separately. Do not use the motorcar table to calculate fees for a motorcycle or EV charging session.

Wisma Atria weekends and the lunch surcharge

For Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays before 5pm, Wisma Atria publishes S$2.70 for the first hour and S$1.70 for each additional half-hour. After 5pm the posted fee is S$5 per entry. These rates have been listed by the operator since a previous adjustment, and they remain subject to change.

A further S$1.10 lunch-hour surcharge applies to vehicles entering between noon and 2pm daily. This is a reason to check the exact arrival time and the current conditions instead of comparing only headline hourly fees.

Guests going to Food Republic or meeting friends at Wisma should allow for the extra charge when planning a lunchtime visit. A small amount in a tariff can affect the comparison when the stay is short.

Wisma Atria accessible lots and EV charging

The official Wisma parking page lists three accessible parking spaces on Level 6. It also identifies EV charging spaces on Levels 5 and 6, and cashcard top-up terminals near the Bubble Lift Lobby on those levels.

Availability of any space is not guaranteed. If an accessible bay is essential, contact venue management for the current arrangement and plan the path from bay to the intended retail floor. A parking bay is valuable only when the rest of the journey is suitable.

Do not park in a designated accessible bay without the relevant entitlement. Illegal parking can result in enforcement charges, which are far more costly than a normal visit.

Ngee Ann City and Takashimaya: weekday rates

Takashimaya Shopping Centre’s official getting-here page provides the Ngee Ann City carpark schedule. On weekdays, the published fee is S$1.31 per thirty minutes or part thereof during the ordinary bands before noon and from 2.01pm to 5pm. From 12.01pm to 2pm and 5.01pm to 7pm it rises to S$1.85 per thirty minutes.

The night band from 7.01pm to midnight is S$4.36 per entry under the official listing. The arrival and departure time matter, especially for a family combining books, dinner and department-store shopping.

Readers should distinguish the Ngee Ann City parking charges from those of neighbouring Paragon. The malls stand along the same road but are managed separately.

Ngee Ann City is a convenient parking location for Takashimaya shopping and Kinokuniya.

Ngee Ann City weekend and holiday rates

For Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, the operator’s schedule is more detailed. During standard hours, the first hour is S$2.62 and each further thirty minutes costs S$1.64. During the busy noon–2pm and 5.01pm–7pm bands, the first hour increases to S$3.71 and later half-hours are S$2.18.

The evening per-entry rate is published as S$4.36 from 7.01pm to midnight. Every amount on the shopping-centre page is labelled inclusive of prevailing GST. Where a session straddles time bands, use the actual posted rules rather than applying an oversimplified formula.

Parking near Kinokuniya can be convenient for a book-shopping trip, but convenience and cost should be considered together with how long you intend to browse.

Ngee Ann City EV bays and pick-up points

Takashimaya’s current directions list EV charging bays on Level 7, with different AC and DC charges per kilowatt-hour and advice to check Quickcharge.sg for the latest figures. Charging cost and parking fees should be treated separately when budgeting.

The published pick-up and drop-off points include Shopping Podium Level 2 and Tower B Office Level 2. These are building-specific vehicle approaches, not instructions to stop along the busy main Orchard Road pavement.

People collecting an older relative or carrying fragile shopping may benefit from agreeing on a designated location before the driver approaches. Clear instructions reduce confusion around the entrances.

Mandarin Gallery: Grange Road and Orchard Link entrances

Mandarin Gallery at 333A Orchard Road publishes two carpark approaches: a basement carpark entered from Grange Road and a multi-storey carpark entered from Orchard Link opposite Ngee Ann City. Their height limits differ, making the choice particularly important for taller vehicles.

The venue’s current page lists a basement height limit of 1.7 metres and a multi-storey height limit of 1.9 metres. Do not assume both can admit the same vehicle, especially when using roof accessories or transporting large equipment.

The photograph of Mandarin Gallery’s Orchard Road frontage helps identify the building, but the driver’s actual route must follow Grange Road or Orchard Link as appropriate.

Mandarin Gallery and Hilton Singapore Orchard frontage

Mandarin Gallery rates and parking rebate

The published Mandarin Gallery tariff is S$3.80 for the first hour or part thereof and S$2.50 for each subsequent thirty minutes from 6am to 6pm. From 6pm to 6am, its operator lists S$7 per entry, including prevailing GST.

The gallery also publishes a limited parking rebate scheme tied to qualifying same-day shopping and Level 3 concierge redemption. Its stated S$8.80 coupon for a minimum S$50 receipt comes with stock limits, eligible-spend rules and redemption conditions. It should never be treated as an automatic rebate for every visitor.

Read the current terms before buying something solely to qualify. A rebate can be helpful when you already intended to make the purchase, but unnecessary shopping is not a reliable way to save on parking.

Mandarin Gallery accessible bays and practical access

The operator identifies accessible parking on Basement 1 at lots 92 and 94, plus multi-storey Level 4 lot 19. These published details help drivers plan but do not guarantee that a bay will be empty on arrival.

Visitors with a wheelchair or stroller should consider the relevant carpark and lift route to the target floor. The Level 3 concierge can provide current wayfinding information and assistance with venue services.

If a specific bay or access route is essential, check directly with management before travelling. A static travel article cannot certify vacancy or lift operation in real time.

313@somerset: use the Somerset Road carpark entrance

313@somerset’s official getting-here page identifies Somerset Road as the vehicle approach for its carpark and drop-off. The mall is at 313 Orchard Road and is also connected to Somerset MRT. Driving via the main shopping frontage simply because the address says Orchard Road can send a visitor to the wrong side of the property.

The official carpark page describes approximately 220 bays on Levels 6 and 7, with priority parking spaces close to lifts. This can make the building useful for a planned shopping or dining stop at the Somerset end, rather than moving the vehicle between several malls.

Save the Somerset Road approach and consider whether arriving by train would be simpler for the group, particularly during a busy weekend.

313@somerset shopping area
313@somerset’s carpark entrance is on Somerset Road, not the mall’s main Orchard Road frontage.

313@somerset parking tariffs and overnight rule

The mall’s official parking page lists S$3.05 for the first hour and S$1.31 per subsequent half-hour from Monday to Thursday. From Friday to Sunday and on public holidays, the published fees are S$3.27 for the first hour and S$1.64 for later half-hours.

It also lists motorcycle parking at S$1.64 per hour or part thereof and states that overnight parking is not allowed. This is important for anyone considering leaving a car after a late event or hotel stay. The site publishes season-parking options separately, which are not ordinary visitor entitlements.

Use the actual day and duration to calculate the total. A short weekday errand and a lengthy Saturday meal can lead to different outcomes.

313@somerset EV charging and family bays

313’s operator lists EV charging on Level 7 as well as designated priority bays for families and drivers with disabilities. The presence of a charger or family bay does not guarantee availability at a chosen time.

Families arriving with children may benefit from parking near a suitable lift, but should still check the route from the carpark to the dining or play area. Families and mobility-aid users have different needs, so a generic ‘priority parking’ label should be interpreted through the venue’s detailed rules.

Electric vehicle owners should check current charger compatibility, charging rates and any time restrictions. Charging fees and ordinary parking charges may both apply.

What about valet parking near TANGS?

An October 2026 Leica photograph shows workers and a valet-parking area around the TANGS and ION junction. It captures the actual streetscape rather than proving a universal valet programme for every neighbouring property. Valet arrangements may belong to specific developments or change with management and events.

If a hotel or retail venue advertises valet service, verify where to hand over the vehicle, the operating hours, cost and collection procedure with that exact operator. Do not leave keys with somebody based only on a general street photograph.

A nearby valet sign also does not authorise drivers to stop in general traffic lanes. Use the designated approach and follow staff directions.

TANGS and ION Orchard with valet area in the streetscape

Parking a motorcycle around Orchard Road

Motorcycles may have different fees, entry points and designated areas from cars. Wisma, ION and 313 publish motorcycle schedules rather than simply applying the motorcar tariff. Compare the actual operator rates and any per-entry versus hourly distinctions.

An apparent empty corner of a carpark is not necessarily designated motorcycle parking. Follow the venue’s lane markings, signs and current policy. Misuse can trigger enforcement charges or create hazards for other vehicles.

For a short shopping trip, check whether a suitable motorcycle bay exists at the chosen destination before departing.

Comparing parking cost with a realistic example

Imagine a weekday motorcar visit to ION between 10am and noon, entirely within its daytime rate. Based on the published Monday–Thursday rates, the first hour costs S$2.73 and two later half-hours cost S$1.31 each, producing S$5.35. This is an educational calculation assuming no other special conditions apply.

At Wisma Atria on an ordinary Monday morning outside its lunch-entry surcharge window, a two-hour stay based on the posted first-hour and half-hour tariff would cost S$6.00. These examples are not universal statements of which mall is cheapest because dates, duration, reward redemption and band transitions vary.

Use the specific venue’s live rules when a dollar-and-cent total matters. A short or long stay may reverse the comparison.

Why starting time matters as much as duration

Parking charges often use time bands, with a fee changing at a specified hour. A visitor who enters just before a band boundary should not assume the entire stay is charged at the arrival band or that any later per-entry price automatically replaces prior hourly charges.

For example, Ngee Ann City has midday and early-evening tariff changes, and Wisma has a lunch-entry surcharge. The question is not simply ‘how many hours?’ but ‘which day, which interval and what additional conditions apply?’

Checking the operator’s details before a long dinner avoids an unpleasant surprise when leaving the carpark late.

Why parking rewards are not automatically free parking

ION, Paragon and Mandarin Gallery publish various rewards or rebate options, but each has eligibility rules. Points may need to be converted in advance, a voucher may expire on the day of redemption or a shopping receipt may have to meet a minimum spend and same-day limit.

Read the fine print before counting a rebate as guaranteed. A shopper without the relevant membership, receipt or valid redemption may still pay the full tariff. Some peak-hour surcharges may also remain payable under promotional schemes.

A reward is best treated as an optional reduction to the planned cost rather than the foundation of the outing.

Parking for a family with young children

Parents may value a suitable lift, convenient loading area and predictable route more than the lowest published first-hour price. A carpark whose entry is close to the main family activity may save energy and make feeding and changing breaks easier.

Paragon publishes nursing and family rooms and a children’s area; ION and Mandarin Gallery also identify family facilities. However, the exact route from carpark to a particular room should be checked with staff where accessibility matters.

Allow enough time to secure children and belongings before driving. Crowded shopping carparks are not places to rush into the road or open a door without checking passing vehicles.

Parking for wheelchair users and older relatives

Accessible parking may be specifically designated, as at Wisma, Mandarin Gallery and 313. The bay’s actual availability and permitted use require current checks. A convenient bay needs to connect with suitable lifts and the ultimate shop or restaurant.

If your companion has reduced mobility but no wheelchair, consider walking distance, gradients, seating and the return path. A long detour from a low-priced carpark can be more burdensome than parking nearer the appointment.

Contact venue staff when a critical accessibility requirement is unclear; the relevant operator can provide more precise advice than a static list of carparks.

The MRT as an alternative to driving

Orchard MRT (NS22/TE14) and Somerset MRT (NS23) serve different parts of the shopping district. A train journey can avoid carpark queues and make it easier to walk one direction along the boulevard rather than return to a vehicle.

Driving may still be appropriate with heavy purchases, children or accessibility needs. The best choice depends on the party’s route, luggage and comfort. There is no universal rule that rail is always preferable for every visitor.

If you expect to stay for several hours and move between malls, compare the full cost and convenience before deciding which transport mode fits the day.

Orchard MRT entrance foyer
Orchard MRT is a practical alternative when driving or parking is inconvenient.

A driver-first Orchard Road itinerary

Begin with the business you need most, choose its correct carpark entrance and save the location of the parked vehicle or lift lobby. Do the main shopping or appointment first, then enjoy a meal or nearby photo stop. Avoid moving the car to another mall unless the new location genuinely requires it.

If the group continues along the shopping belt on foot, decide how to return to the original carpark before becoming tired. A pleasant one-way tourist itinerary is not automatically a good driver itinerary when the vehicle remains far behind.

End with enough time to retrieve the car safely and pay attention to the venue’s tariff bands.

A relaxed Orchard Road visit begins with the right entrance

Parking is rarely the reason somebody chooses to visit Orchard Road, but it can shape the day. Choose an approved entrance, understand the tariff and avoid unnecessary backtracking. Once the vehicle is secure, enjoy the shopping, meal or family activity that brought you into town.

If a train is easier for your group, the MRT provides another practical option. The important thing is to start with a plan that leaves enough time and energy for the people you are visiting Singapore with.
