A grounded response is: “他开始时有些拘谨，后来变得愿意主动参与。因为起初他站在后面不敢开口，活动结束后却主动询问下一次的时间。” This explains a reasonable inference from the two actions. It does not claim that he has become confident in every situation or that he will certainly attend every future activity.

Now give a new short passage about someone who moves from avoiding group work to volunteering for a small role. Ask the student to identify the before-and-after evidence and write one supported inference. This is an original educational illustration, not a quoted SEAB paper or official marking scheme.

Ask the tutor to show a chain that a student can repeat: locate the question’s demand, identify passage evidence, form a proportionate inference, write clearly and check the answer.
