Should I Get a Tutor Now or Wait and See?

Wait and see when the problem is small, recent, and already improving with ordinary teaching and practice; seek a tutor sooner when the weakness is recurring, compounding, or still poorly understood. The decision should be based on the learning trajectory, not simply on one mark.

Waiting makes sense when the child can explain the mistake, correct it independently, and show improvement over the next few attempts. Direct teaching becomes more useful when the same confusion persists, prerequisite gaps are affecting new topics, confidence is falling, or important examinations are approaching while the repair route remains unclear.

Use the Diagnostics & Recovery Hub before making the decision. If direct teaching is warranted, continue through the Tuition & Teaching Hub.
