Step 2: Decode (Understand Meaning Boundaries)
A child doesn’t need the “perfect definition”. They need meaning boundaries.
Ask:
- what does this word mean here?
- what does it NOT mean?
- what is a near-synonym?
- what is the emotion or tone?
This is how vocabulary becomes usable, not fake memorised.
Step 3: Connect (Build The Network)
Vocabulary grows when words connect.
Build links:
- synonym cluster (similar meaning)
- antonym cluster (opposite meaning)
