Beauty World Centre | Food, MRT Exit A and a Practical Visitor Guide

Beauty World Centre is at 144 Upper Bukit Timah Road, Singapore 588177. SBS Transit lists it among the destinations served by Beauty World MRT Exit A. If you are coming for food or an errand, use the full building name and address: Beauty World Centre and Beauty World Plaza are different destinations.

For a food visit, the fourth-floor Beauty World Food Centre offers a specific starting point. The MICHELIN Guide lists Hong Wen Mutton Soup at #04-20 and Ye Tang at #04-26. Check the stall you want before travelling, because the shops and food stalls do not all keep the same hours.

Did you know that an opening time for one Beauty World Centre shop tells you very little about whether your lunch stall is open? Watsons lists daily hours of 10am to 9.30pm, while food businesses have their own schedules. Plan around the place you actually want to visit, then enjoy the rest of the building at your own pace.

SECTION 1 OF 5

1. Get the building and exit right

Use Exit A as the station’s listed approach for Beauty World Centre, then follow the street signs and the route to the entrance. Do not assume that an MRT destination listing means a direct indoor connection to every shop.

If you are meeting friends, share a named shop or a clearly described public meeting point. “Beauty World” can mean the station, the surrounding area or more than one building. A precise meeting instruction saves everyone a round of phone calls.

Visitors planning a meal followed by a walk can use the centre as the first part of a day out. Choose the outdoor destination separately and check its approach before leaving the building.

2. Choose a food stop that matches the day

Hong Wen Mutton Soup is an option for visitors interested in a savoury soup meal. The current MICHELIN listing describes a mutton broth with garlic, pepper and herbal flavours, with choices including tripe or tendon. If those ingredients are new to you, ask what is available before ordering.

Ye Tang is listed for cendol, a shaved-ice dessert with rice-flour jelly. The guide mentions additional choices such as red beans, palm seeds, corn or durian. Pick according to your appetite and preferences rather than feeling that you must order every topping.

These are two verified starting points, not a ranking of every stall. The pleasure of a food-centre visit can be a modest lunch and a dessert shared afterwards. Look at the current menu and ask about ingredients if you have dietary requirements.

3. Check stall hours rather than a general mall time

The MICHELIN listing currently shows Hong Wen’s lunch-oriented schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 3.30pm, Thursday from 11.30am to 3.30pm, with Wednesday and Friday closed. Ye Tang is listed from Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 8pm, with Monday and Tuesday closed.

Confirm directly before making a special journey. Published schedules can change, and a stall can sell out. The same guide lists both stalls as cash-only, so carrying cash gives you a practical fallback.

Older food articles may preserve a different schedule. Use the current business information over an old story when deciding when to arrive.

4. Fit an errand around the meal

Watsons lists its Beauty World Centre branch at #B1-11/12. Its published hours give you a concrete retail option, while its holiday notice reminds visitors to check for changes around public holidays.

If you have another appointment in the building, confirm the floor and unit first. Go to that appointment before adding optional browsing, especially if the timing matters. A pleasant local visit does not need a long shopping list.

For parents accompanying a child to a lesson elsewhere, agree on a clear collection point and time. Do not infer that any tuition business in the centre belongs to eduKate; providers have their own locations and arrangements.

5. Add one nearby experience

Choose between a food-and-errands visit and a food-and-nature visit. Combining too many stops can leave the family tired before the most enjoyable part begins.

Our Rifle Range Nature Park guide and Hindhede Nature Park guide help you compare two outdoor possibilities. Check the chosen park’s hours and notices separately.

Back at home, ask everyone which flavour or scene they remember. A precise answer such as the texture of a dessert or the shape of a cliff often keeps the day alive better than a list of places visited.
