Find the library from Punggol Coast MRT

Follow the signs to the mall, then look for Tower 7 and unit #01-140. Save the tower and unit together. A map pin for Punggol Coast Mall can be enough to reach the district, but the unit is what gets you to the library. Choose between comics and board games

NLB describes an English-language collection with comics, graphic novels and game-inspired reading, as well as a separate children’s collection and a showcase of local comics. For a child who wants to choose quickly, browse one section first and sample a few pages before deciding. A family can choose one title for the child and another to read together later.

For board games, use the dedicated area and follow its instructions. Check table space before committing to a long game. If your group has only a short break, choose a game you already understand or start with a simple one. Read the posted instructions for any item you want to borrow or take out of the area.

If the tables are full

Browse the collection first and see whether a table frees up. If you have a fixed lunch or train, let the book browse be the main activity. Save a longer game for a visit when the group can finish without rushing.

Fit the stop around a mall or campus visit

The library is a useful indoor stop before lunch or after a campus appointment. If the appointment is time-sensitive, find your campus venue first. Check how long it takes to return before adding time at the library. When meeting someone from SIT, give the unit number and agree whether to regroup before moving on for a meal.

For a family trip, decide before arriving whether you are there to play, browse or borrow. One clear goal works well if children have different interests or you also have an errand. Check the current venue notice if visiting near closing time or on a public holiday.
