If you are meeting someone before going up, send ‘ION Orchard, Level 4, ION Art lift lobby’. A person coming from the MRT may start below ground, while someone coming from Orchard Road may enter at street level. The lobby name gives both a clear destination.

Plan around the view and the venue
Decide whether the outing centres on the skyline, a meal or an afternoon drink. If it is the view, remember that visibility depends on the day. If it is a meal, work backward from the reservation and leave time to reach Level 4 and take the lift.
For a group outing, check any venue rules and ask how early to arrive. If you also want to shop first, agree on a cut-off time so the trip upstairs does not depend on everybody finishing at once.
When you are ready to leave, return through the dedicated lift and follow the mall signs for Orchard MRT or the street. The lift lobby is a useful reference point for meeting somebody after the visit.
