Guide contents

Find the gallery from Orchard MRT

Follow the mall connection from Orchard station into ION Orchard. Use the mall directory for Level 4 and look for ION Art Gallery. If your party is already shopping, ask them to meet at the gallery entrance or another precise Level 4 landmark.

ION Art also includes installations around the mall. A work you see on another level can be part of the programme without being inside the gallery.

Check what is on before going

ION Orchard’s gallery overview lists daily hours from 10 am to 10 pm. Check the individual exhibition for its own dates and hours. An event may have an opening time, a different location or booking instructions.

If the exhibition is your main reason for visiting, save the title and venue before you leave. This is especially useful when the mall is hosting more than one installation or event.

Use a short art stop during an Orchard visit

For a quick visit, choose one work to look at closely. Notice the material, scale and how it changes when you move around it. With children, ask them to point out a detail they spotted before reading the label.

If you want to keep browsing after the gallery, check which other works the mall currently lists. Give your group a clear meeting point if some people want more time in the gallery.
