From Bayfront MRT, take Exit B and follow the underground linkway, then cross Dragonfly Bridge or Meadow Bridge into Gardens by the Bay. If you are already at Marina Bay Sands Hotel, the Garden Bay Bridge is a separate overhead approach. Choose the route based on where you are starting.
Set your final destination inside the Gardens before choosing a crossing. A booking for a conservatory, an event at The Meadow or a visit to Supertree Grove gives you a more useful endpoint than the general Gardens by the Bay name.
- From Bayfront MRT (CE1/DT16), use Exit B.
- From the hotel side, check signs and opening arrangements for Garden Bay Bridge.
- From the underground link, follow the Gardens map for Dragonfly Bridge or Meadow Bridge.
- Continue to the named attraction or event area on your booking.

Bayfront MRT Exit B and the underground approach
If you arrive on the Circle or Downtown Line, follow Exit B and Gardens by the Bay signs at Bayfront. The operator directs visitors through the underground linkway and then across either Dragonfly Bridge or Meadow Bridge. Look at the map at the end of the link before choosing the crossing.
This approach keeps the first part indoors or under cover. The route still includes an outdoor section after the linkway, so allow for the weather. If you are travelling with someone who needs a lift, check the signed step-free route and the final path to the attraction.
If you are already inside The Shoppes, follow the signs back towards Bayfront MRT and the Gardens exit rather than looking for a route through the waterfront alone.
When to use the Garden Bay Bridge
The Garden Bay Bridge is the overhead crossing at Marina Bay Sands Hotel. It is a different bridge from Dragonfly Bridge and Meadow Bridge, which the Gardens lists after the Bayfront underground approach. If you are already on the hotel side, ask for the Garden Bay Bridge and check its current access.

If the bridge approach is unavailable or you are still near the station, use the Exit B route instead. Send the starting point along with your directions when travelling in a group. A person coming from the hotel and a person coming from the MRT may reach the Gardens through different entrances.

Choose where to meet inside the Gardens
For a ticketed attraction, use the exact attraction entrance and entry time. For a walk, choose a named landmark inside the Gardens. When you have a map, check the whole route before choosing a crossing so you can see which paths take you towards the intended stop.
If the weather turns, decide whether to take the shortest available route or pause before the outdoor segment. For a return to Bayfront MRT, look for the signs towards Bayfront Plaza and the station. If you used the hotel bridge, decide whether the same crossing or the MRT connection suits your onward trip.
