If you use a non-Singpass account and have forgotten your SEAB Candidates Portal password, use the Forgot password option on the portal’s login page and follow its reset steps.
If you normally sign in with Singpass, use the official Singpass recovery route for a Singpass login problem. Start with the account route used for your examination registration.
- Open the official Candidates Portal.
- Choose the login or reset route for your account.
- Follow the official recovery prompts.
- Check that your examination record is visible after signing in.
Work out where the sign-in failed
If your non-Singpass password is the issue, use the portal reset option. If you can sign in but see an error when opening your results, record the message and check the official support route for that service.
For example, a candidate who can access their account but sees a results page error should follow the GCE results portal error guide. A password reset addresses a different problem.

If the reset does not resolve the problem
Use SEAB’s official contact route and describe where the process stopped. Have the examination year and any relevant error details ready. Provide only the information requested through official channels and keep passwords and verification codes private.
If an entry proof, application or results deadline is close, tell SEAB which action you cannot complete and when it is due.

Check the correct account after recovery
Once you regain access, check that the intended examination and year appear. If your record is missing, contact SEAB rather than assuming a second account will solve it. See the foreign-passport registration guide for the original account routes.
