Choose Predators on Wings for birds of prey and the way they hunt or scavenge. Choose Wings of the World for a broader mix of birds and their natural behaviours. Both presentations take place at the PropNex Sky Amphitheatre inside Bird Paradise, at Mandai Wildlife WEST. Pick one presentation as the anchor for your visit, then add the nearby parts of the park you most want to see.
Mandai currently lists Predators on Wings at 10.30 am and 2.30 pm, and Wings of the World at 12.30 pm and 5 pm. Schedules can change. Check Mandai’s app or the park’s on-site information on the day, especially if you are building the whole visit around one show. Predators on Wings · Wings of the World
- Pick the presentation by topic and the session you can comfortably reach.
- Save Mandai Wildlife WEST and the amphitheatre location separately.
- Plan a small route with one or two other priorities.
- Allow time for travel, walking, queues and a meal.
- Check the day’s timings before heading to the amphitheatre.
Choose the show by what your group wants to see
Predators on Wings puts birds of prey and their behaviour at the centre of the presentation. It suits a group curious about how a bird locates food or uses its wings and talons. Wings of the World is the broader introduction and suits visitors who want to see a mix of birds and compare their behaviours. Leave individual species sightings flexible.
For a child interested in birds of prey, one presentation followed by a nearby aviary can be enough for a memorable outing. For someone mainly interested in penguins, put Penguin Cove on the plan first and pick whichever presentation fits the rest of the route. Penguin Cove information
| Presentation | Published times | Choose it for |
|---|---|---|
| Predators on Wings | 10.30 am and 2.30 pm | Birds of prey and scavengers |
| Wings of the World | 12.30 pm and 5 pm | A wider mix of birds and behaviours |
Work backwards from the amphitheatre
Allow time to reach Wildlife WEST, enter Bird Paradise and walk to the venue. Check the attraction map for the amphitheatre and Central Plaza. Mandai lists an in-park shuttle between the entrance and Central Plaza, which may help if your group wants to shorten the walk. Check current service and allow for a queue. If your first choice is the 10.30 am presentation and your arrival is running late, head toward the amphitheatre once inside. If the timing no longer works, choose a later session or use the time for an aviary. On a short visit, walking slowly through one area can be more enjoyable than crossing the park twice to chase the schedule.
Pair the presentation with the rest of the visit
For a morning outing, choose a presentation and one or two nearby priorities, then eat when it suits the group. For an afternoon outing, compare the 2.30 pm and 5 pm sessions with how long you want to spend in the park. Decide how you will leave Wildlife WEST before selecting the later show.
Check Mandai’s live advice if weather or an event changes the plan. If an activity moves or is unavailable, ask staff what is accessible at the time. You can make a shorter route around Penguin Cove or another area you wanted to see, subject to current opening.
