People escalate poorly because they lack a shared script. They either under-react (“it’s fine”) or over-react (“we need a professional now”). This article provides short, reusable scripts that implement Phase triage: self-repair → teacher/institution → specialist, with clear thresholds based on Phase state, drift, and Time-to-Core (TTC). The goal is calm action, not denial—so repair capacity stays available when it matters most.

The Core Rule (Lock This)

A good escalation script must do four things:

Normalize the state (remove shame/panic)
Commit to action (not “wait and hope”)
Set a review window (time-bound)
