Doing lots of papers feels like hard work, but it can become a trap: you repeat the same mistakes, get the same score, and feel stuck. Papers don’t create improvement by themselves. Repair creates improvement.

The Root Reason

Why practice papers fail

  • You check answers and move on
  • You correct superficially (“careless”)
  • You don’t isolate the mistake type
  • You don’t retest the same weakness later
  • You do volume instead of repair

Phase rule

Papers test Phase. They don’t automatically raise Phase.
To raise Phase, you need targeted drills + retests.

Fix (paper → repair → retest loop)

  2. Build an error log (group errors into 3 types)
  3. Create micro-drills for each type (10 items each)
  4. Retest weekly (timed)

  1. Do I write down repeated errors?
  2. Can I explain why I got it wrong?
