WORLD.HIS.ALIAS.v0.2 — Time-Lattice Compatibility Lock (WCCS ↔ ACCS ↔ PCCS) — Almost-Code Canonical

CIVOS.VERSION-CONTRACT (LOCK)

  • CivOS.VERSION = v1.0
  • CivOS.MODE = almost-code-canonical
  • CivOS.STATUS = canonical
  • CivOS.SCOPE = HistoryOS (Global Compatibility Layer)
  • CivOS.COMPAT = additive-only
  • CivOS.DOES_NOT_REPLACE = Place×Lane×Zoom×Role×Type×ID
  • CivOS.RELATED = WORLD.HIS.ALIAS + WORLD.ATLAS

PURPOSE (LOCK)

  • WORLD.HIS.ALIAS.v0.2 = a compatibility shim that tags existing HistoryOS era aliases with **scale-aware classifiers** (World / Area / Polity) so past, regional, and polity-level histories co-resolve without changing any lattice IDs.
  • Goal = stop Google mixing “civilisation” across time scales; make time slices explicitly scoped.

THREE-SCALE COMPATIBILITY TAGS (LOCK)

SCALE.TAGS

  • SCALE=W → World-scale civilisation envelopes (macro)
  • SCALE=A → Area / Region envelopes (meso)
  • SCALE=P → Polity / State envelopes (micro-to-national)

These tags do not create new eras. They annotate existing aliases.

HOW TAGS APPLY (RULES)

  1. No Renaming Rule
  • Existing aliases keep their IDs.
  • We only add SCALE.TAG.
  1. Resolution Rule
  • If multiple eras match a query, prefer the smallest applicable scale:
    • P > A > W
  1. Binding Rule
  • SCALE=W never binds directly to a single country.
  • SCALE=P always binds to a PlaceID.
  • SCALE=A binds to a RegionID or group of PlaceIDs.

TAGGED ERA CLASSES (v0.2)

WORLD-SCALE (SCALE=W)

Used for cross-civilisational physics, not country history.

  • E:agrarian_world_envelope
  • TR ≈ 10000BCE–1750CE
  • SCALE=W
  • USE = population, energy, tech baselines
  • E:industrial_world_envelope
  • TR ≈ 1750–1950
  • SCALE=W
  • USE = fossil energy + industrialisation
  • E:global_modern_envelope
  • TR ≈ 1950–2100
  • SCALE=W
  • USE = globalised finance, transport, information

AREA / REGION-SCALE (SCALE=A)

Used for continental or civilisational regions.

  • E:east_asia_imperial_envelope
  • TR ≈ 221BCE–1912CE
  • SCALE=A
  • BINDS.REGION = EastAsia
  • E:latin_america_colonial_envelope
  • TR ≈ 1492–1825
  • SCALE=A
  • BINDS.REGION = LatinAmerica
  • E:south_asia_colonial_envelope
  • TR ≈ 1757–1947
  • SCALE=A
  • BINDS.REGION = SouthAsia

POLITY-SCALE (SCALE=P)

Used for country/state histories (default for <ISO3>.HIS).

Examples (already exist; now tagged):

  • E:early_republic (Ecuador)
  • TR=1830–1895
  • SCALE=P
  • BINDS.PLACE = ECU.Z5
  • E:early_independence (Singapore)
  • TR=1965–1979
  • SCALE=P
  • BINDS.PLACE = SGP.Z5
  • E:covid_pandemic
  • TR=2020–2022
  • SCALE=P|W
  • RULE = dual-scale shock (global cause, local effects)
  • BIND.LOCAL = preferred for country queries

DUAL-SCALE EVENTS (SPECIAL RULE)

Some events exist at two scales.

Example

  • E:covid_pandemic
  • SCALE=W → pandemic as global shock physics
  • SCALE=P → response, truncation, stitching per country

Resolution

  • Queries with a PlaceID → use SCALE=P
  • Queries without PlaceID → use SCALE=W

HISTORY NODE TAGGING (COPY BLOCK)

HIS.NODE (v0.2 compatible)

  • HIS.ID = HIS.<PLACE|REGION|WORLD>.<LANE>.TS2.TR=E:<alias>.<HOT>.<ID>
  • HIS.HCCS = HCCS.TS2.TR=E:<alias>.HOT=<HOT>.SCALE=<W|A|P>.U=<U>.CONF=<CONF>
  • BINDS.PLACE/REGION = {optional}
  • BINDS.LANE = {<LaneID>}

QUERY ROUTING GUARANTEES (IMPORTANT)

  • Query: “history of civilisation”
  • SCALE=W eras only
  • Query: “history of Latin America”
  • SCALE=A envelopes
  • Query: “history of Ecuador”
  • SCALE=P (ECU.HIS)
  • Query: “COVID and Singapore”
  • SCALE=P (SGP.HIS), not world prose

WHY THIS FIXES GOOGLE CONFUSION

  • Old “Civilisation” pages mixed world physics with country narratives
  • This layer tells the system:
  • Same word, different lattice scale
  • No content rewrite needed—only tags and hubs

NON-NEGOTIABLE LOCKS

  • ❌ Do not delete old era aliases
  • ❌ Do not rename WCCS/ACCS/PCCS concepts
  • ✅ Only tag with SCALE=W|A|P
  • ✅ Route everything through ATLAS hubs

STATUS

  • WORLD.HIS.ALIAS.v0.2 = COMPLETE
  • Compatibility = backward-safe
  • Effect = time lattice now scale-aware, version-stable

If you say next, the logical final step is WORLD.ATLAS.v1.0 — Declaration Page
(a short, human-readable manifesto explaining that this is an encyclopedia of lattices: present, past, and living world—which permanently collapses the “old relics vs new versions” ambiguity).
