Which MRT Exit for Merlion Park? | The Short Walk from Raffles Place to One Fullerton

Singapore Merlion with hotels in the background beneath dark clouds.

Use Raffles Place MRT Exit H for the short walk to Merlion Park. Head towards The Fullerton Hotel and follow the pedestrian route to One Fullerton at 1 Fullerton Road, Singapore 049213. The Merlion is on the waterfront facing Marina Bay.

This approach works well if your main stop is the Merlion and you arrive on the North–South or East–West Line. If you are already on the Marina Bay Sands side, the longer waterfront route via the Esplanade is a different way to reach the same park.

  • Use Raffles Place (NS26/EW14), Exit H.
  • Look for The Fullerton Hotel as an orientation point.
  • Continue to the One Fullerton waterfront and Merlion Park.
  • Choose a meeting point away from the busiest photo area.

Raffles Place MRT Exit H to Merlion Park

After leaving the fare gates, follow Exit H. Look for the river and The Fullerton Hotel after you reach street level. Use the Merlion Park or One Fullerton pin to follow the current pedestrian approach.

The hotel is a landmark on the walk. Your destination is the waterfront at One Fullerton, across the road from the hotel area. Follow signed pedestrian routes and use designated crossings or links. If you are unsure whether you are on the right path, check for the One Fullerton name before walking farther.

For a visitor who needs a lift or wants to minimise steps, confirm the current station exit and pedestrian route. Exit H is the approach listed in the tourism guide, while an accessible journey may depend on the links available that day.

What to see at the waterfront

Look out over the bay from the public path and find the Merlion statue. This side gives you a view towards Marina Bay Sands across the water. If the photo area is busy, use an open stretch of the waterfront and let other visitors pass.

If you are meeting someone, name the side of the park or an entrance to One Fullerton. A group waiting at the statue can be difficult to find when several parties are stopping for photos.

Decide whether to return or keep walking

For a short visit, return towards The Fullerton Hotel and Raffles Place MRT. For a longer outing, use the signs to Jubilee Bridge and the Esplanade side. This continues the waterfront walk without requiring a return to the same station.

If you started at Bayfront and want to finish at Raffles Place, use the route in reverse after reaching Merlion Park. Confirm your next train line before leaving the waterfront.
