Cycling to Punggol Coast MRT, SIT or the Mall | Where to Check Bicycle Parking

Exit and station control area inside Punggol Coast MRT station.

If you are cycling to Punggol Coast, look for the designated bicycle parking at or near Punggol Coast MRT (NE18). LTA’s station factsheet lists more than 300 bicycle parking lots. Park at a signed rack, then continue on foot to Punggol Coast Mall, SIT or your destination in Punggol Digital District.

SIT also describes bicycle parking and end-of-trip facilities on campus. If you need a locker or shower, confirm which facility you can use. The district’s travel page marks its own end-of-trip facilities as coming soon, so check their status separately.

  • Station: Punggol Coast MRT (NE18).
  • Station bicycle parking: More than 300 lots in LTA’s factsheet.
  • SIT: Check campus locations and end-of-trip access.
  • District: Use current signs for park connector and facility access.

Find a rack before looking for the mall entrance

Choose the cycle route and look for the designated bicycle racks as you approach the station. LTA describes two station entrances, with one on New Punggol Road and another within the district. Use the signs for the racks on your approach rather than assuming the closest entrance has space.

Punggol Coast Mall and a Singapore Institute of Technology campus building
Park at a designated rack, then use pedestrian signs for the mall or exact campus building.

Lock the bicycle at a marked rack and note a station entrance or visible landmark nearby. If you are returning after dark, remember the route back to the rack and check whether it suits your group.

Check campus and district facilities separately

SIT’s campus directions identify dedicated bicycle parking and facilities such as lockers and showers. Check which site and access conditions apply to you, especially if you are a visitor coming for an event. An event invitation may give a more specific building or entrance.

Punggol Digital District’s travel page directs cyclists via a park connector and describes its end-of-trip facilities as coming soon. Verify the latest status before depending on a shower or locker. A trip that ends at the mall can be planned around the station rack and a short walk.

If you have a scheduled appointment, allow time to park and find the actual block. SIT has more than one campus plot. Put the block code in your route so you can move directly from the rack to the correct destination.

Plan the ride back before going indoors

If your group is combining the visit with a waterfront ride, check the current park-connector route and any notices first. Decide where to turn back and keep the mall or campus stop separate from any longer ride.

On public shared routes, follow signs and leave room for other users. Dismount where instructed and take the walking route inside the mall. If you are meeting other cyclists, use a public landmark after parking so nobody needs to wait in a busy circulation area.

Leave the rack location in your notes or group message. This matters when a group parks at different entrances and wants to leave together.
