This is the operational summary of everything in Education Inversion.
If someone only reads one page, it should be this.

Education fails not because people don’t try, but because the wrong things are optimised.

This guide replaces effort, pressure, and prestige with control logic.

Definition Lock (Module)

Education OS works only when independence and reliability increase over time.

Anything that:

increases dependence
hides failure
inflates proxies
adds load without repair

is below-threshold operation, regardless of results.

A. STOP THESE IMMEDIATELY (Phase-0 Kill Switch)

If learning is unstable, do not optimise harder.

❌ Stop:

“Powering through”
Adding more tuition hours
Stacking centres / subjects
Endless drilling of new chapters
Explaining before the child attempts
Prompting every step
Chasing marks as the primary signal
Comparing children to peers/siblings
Emotional escalation around failure

More effort on a broken loop causes collapse.

B. MEASURE ONLY THESE (Real Sensors)

If you don’t measure these, you are blind.

✅ Z0 — Skill Sensors (Weekly, 10–15 min)

No-hint cold start: Can they begin alone?
Timed reliability: Does performance collapse under mild time pressure?
Transfer: Same concept, different wording — still works?
Error detection: Do they notice mistakes themselves?
Retention: Can they still do it after 7–14 days?

✅ Z1 — Independence Sensors

Is scaffolding decreasing?
Can the student work alone longer?
Do they self-correct more often?
Is panic decreasing?

✅ Z2 — System Sensors (Schools / Tuition)

Are repair queues shrinking?
Is detection → repair faster than drift (TTC)?
Are teachers/tutors rescuing less over time?

✅ Z3 — Pipeline Sensors

Is tuition optional or mandatory?
Are credentials rising while execution weakens?
Is downstream remediation expanding?

If independence is not rising, the system is failing.

C. FIX IN THIS ORDER (Never Reverse)

1️⃣ Restore Sensors (Truth Before Effort)

Run:

no-hint micro-tests
one transfer variant
one timed micro-set

No hints. No coaching. No rescue.

2️⃣ Diagnose the Root Pocket

Classify failure as:

missing prerequisite
method selection failure
error detection failure
overload failure

Do not fix symptoms.

3️⃣ Route Micro-Repair

One pocket at a time:

short explanation (≤2 min)
focused drill (10–12 min)
immediate no-hint verification

If verification fails → repeat.
No progress without verification.

4️⃣ Install Maintenance

Without this, everything decays.

Weekly:

spaced retrieval
cumulative review
interleaving

Maintenance prevents tuition addiction.

5️⃣ Enforce Independence KPI

Every month:

fewer hints
longer solo work
calmer execution
less panic
stable or falling tuition hours

If dependence rises → system failure.

Fund mid-layer thickness
