eduKateSG · Secondary subject study guides · 2027 school-candidate syllabuses
Find your subject. Choose one useful next step.
Start with your subject level, open its family and select the exact syllabus code. Every linked guide explains how to organise practice and check understanding.
Looking for a G1, G2 or G3 study guide? This index brings together 97 step-by-step eduKateSG guides in one place. Use the level and subject code on your school materials to find the closest match, then begin with one area you can practise and check today.
The collection covers the subject entries tracked from SEAB’s 2027 school-candidate directories. It includes 15 G1 entries, 25 G2 entries and 57 G3 entries. The three G1 MOE–ITE Applied Subjects are included for navigation but lead to a separate qualification; this is not a claim that all 97 entries are SEC subjects.
You do not need to read every guide. Choose your actual subject, identify the first uncertain step and use that guide’s examples and reading routes. These are independent study resources, not official SEAB publications, guaranteed examination predictions or claims that eduKate offers tuition in every listed subject.
1. Choose the guide that matches your course
Check three details before opening a guide: the subject level, the complete subject title and the syllabus code. Combination Science and Humanities guides have distinct codes; do not substitute a separate-subject guide simply because one component has a similar name.
Use the subject level recorded by your school. The G1, G2 and G3 labels here describe the individual subject, not a single label for all your studies. If your materials show a different year or code, check with your teacher before applying a guide’s assessment overview.

5. Turn a guide into a manageable study session
Begin with one recent question, paragraph, calculation, practical record or design decision that you cannot yet explain. Name the difficulty before choosing more practice. A missing word, an incorrect method and an unsupported conclusion need different repairs.
| Step | What to do | What to keep |
|---|---|---|
| Diagnose | Attempt a small relevant task before looking at the model. | The first uncertain step. |
| Repair | Read the matching explanation and work through an original example. | Your explanation of what changed and why. |
| Retest | Try a fresh task after a delay, without the correction visible. | Evidence that the skill transfers to a new situation. |
Use the result to choose the next move. If the same uncertainty returns, reduce the task and ask your teacher a focused question. If you can explain and apply the idea independently, continue to the next connected part of the subject.
The unchanged Secondary 1 Mathematics Tutor Clementi Small Groups Tutorials reference supports this diagnosis, repair and retest approach. It is a study-method reference, not the curriculum authority for every subject or a claim that the linked page offers every type of tuition.
6. Check Applied Subject eligibility and project rules
The SEAB G1 directory lists Mobile Robotics K130, Smart Electrical Technology K131 and Retail Operations K132 as MOE–ITE Applied Subjects. They are restricted to approved schools, and SEAB states that 2027 is their final examination year. Their individual guides identify the separate MOE–ITE qualification.
The SEAB G3 directory lists Biotechnology K375 and Design Studies K376 as Applied Subjects restricted to approved schools. Examining-agency subject fees apply, and SEAB states that 2028 is their final examination year. Confirm availability and arrangements with your school.
For coursework, practical assessments and supervised projects, follow the official syllabus and school instructions. Independent practice examples are for learning; do not submit them as your own assessed project work. A guide does not replace safety training, supervision or subject-specific authenticity rules.
7. Keep the official syllabus beside your guide
The index and linked guides were assembled for the 2027 school-candidate series. Source directories were checked on 14 October 2026. Later revisions may change requirements, so use the current official document for your examination year and ask your teacher when instructions differ.
