Did you know that 2027 SEC G3 Hindi (K360) uses two written papers?
A useful Hindi study plan starts by separating ideas from expression. If a child knows what to say but cannot yet put it into a clear written response, another full paper may hide the precise difficulty.
Looking for the format? Open the paper table. Planning support? Read the family questions. Want a small next step? Try the practice example and the study routine, or browse the complete subject directory.

Understand and plan
- Which course and materials should we check?
- What are the papers, durations and weights?
- What should parents and students ask first?
Practise and review
Start with the exact registered subject and examination year. Ask the teacher which current materials match the course before buying another preparation book.
A general language resource and an examination-preparation resource can have different jobs. Use our suggested resource test: name the learner’s present difficulty and explain how this material helps address it.
For a child entering Secondary 1 in 2027, follow the current teaching programme and obtain the appropriate graduating-year specification when available. An examination document is not a four-year lesson plan.
| Paper | Duration | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| 1: Composition | 2h | 45% |
| 2: Language usage and comprehension | 1h 30min | 55% |
Read the official syllabus for the complete task instructions. Its combined document contains separate language sections; use the section matching the registered subject.
Our suggested preparation begins with a small work sample. Ask what made it difficult before deciding whether the student needs explanation, guided practice or a timed attempt.
Bring a recent response to the teacher and ask whether the main obstacle is understanding the task, organising ideas or expressing them. These questions produce a more useful starting point than a broad label such as weak in Hindi.
Check where lessons take place, who supplies feedback and how homework fits around other subjects. A family routine works best when responsibilities are clear.
Ask about registration and the student’s approved course with the school or provider. Do not treat a public syllabus listing as permission to change a Mother Tongue arrangement.
Our practice idea begins with a simple situation: explain why a class activity would be useful. Choose language already taught and write a short plan before drafting.
Give each planned point a job: identify the activity, explain one benefit and add a relevant detail. If the same idea appears three times, improve the plan before adding more words.
Ask the teacher to check one paragraph. Make a targeted correction, then change the activity and write a fresh response. The aim is to carry the improved structure into new work, not memorise one answer.
For one session, plan a short response without writing it in full. For another, draft the most important paragraph and obtain feedback. In a later session, revisit the correction without copying.
Keep two versions together and label the actual improvement: clearer purpose, a better connection or more precise expression. This turns revision into a visible change rather than a pile of completed pages.
Use timed work when it helps test an already practised skill. If the student repeatedly stops at the same step, return to that step with the teacher before increasing volume.
For broader pathways, read the Mother Tongue overview and the Posting Group guide. For locating instructions, use the syllabus-reading guide.
