Module: SPOS.ATH.THR
Lane: LANE::SPORT_PERFORMANCE
Sport Type: power + sequencing + high shoulder/elbow/spine load + technique-dominant (volume spikes and poor mechanics → injury)
0) Definition Lock (Throws)
SPORT::Athletics::Throws (SPOS.ATH.THR)= repeatable throwing performance (power × timing × sequencing × release consistency) across training blocks and competition days, while keeping shoulder/elbow/wrist + spine/hip load below injury threshold.Output is “distance reliability under maximal intent” + “availability”.
1) Throws Phase Model (P0–P3)
P3- technique sequencing stable at high intent- implement release consistent; foul rate controlled- strength/power supports technique (does not override it)- shoulder/elbow/spine robust; low recurrence pain- competition routine consistent; peaks scheduledP2- good throws mixed with poor timing days- release angle inconsistent; fouls appear- shoulder/elbow tightness recurring- power exists but leaks through poor sequencingP1- frequent missed sessions due to arm/back pain- technique regression; fear/guarding appears- inconsistent performance; training becomes “forced”- overuse patterns (elbow/shoulder) or back flare-upsP0- significant injury (UCL/elbow, shoulder tear, disc/back injury)- cannot train/compete reliably
Failure-mode trace (throws-specific):
Z1 high-intent throw volume spike + Z0 inadequate shoulder/scap strength→ Z0 sequencing breaks (arm “takes over”)→ Z0 elbow/shoulder irritation + back compensation→ Z2 missed sessions + loss of timing→ P2 → P1 → P0 (arm/back injury)Repair: cap high-intent throws, rebuild sequencing with drills, restore shoulder/scap and trunk capacity, reintroduce intent progressively.
2) Time-Flow (Ancient → Modern) — Throws Function
TIMEFLOW::THROWS_FUNCTIONT0 survival: spear/stone throwing for hunting and conflictT1 ancient civilisations: military readiness (javelin/spear), prestige displaysT2 pre-modern: martial sports, festivals, strength cultureT3 industrial: standardized athletics events; clubs; measurement/recordsT4 modern: elite biomechanics + strength science + national projectionT5 sensor era: sequencing analytics, joint load governance, individualized volume/intensity control
3) Throws Primitives (What Must Be Built)
THR::PrimitivesPR0 Footwork and positions (entry, glide/rotation, power position)PR1 Sequencing: ground → hips → torso → arm → implementPR2 Release mechanics (angle, point, timing)PR3 Block/bracing (transfer force without collapsing)PR4 Mobility: hips/Thoracic/shoulder with controlPR5 Strength base: legs/hips/trunk + scapular stabilityPR6 Elastic intent: safe high-velocity power expressionPR7 Volume governance: number of high-intent throws/weekPR8 Competition routine: cues, fouls control, arousal regulation

5) Throws Instrument Panel (Decimal-Phase Friendly)
STATE::THROWS- IntentDose ID = max-intent throws/week- JointRisk JR = shoulder/elbow/back pain + stiffness trend- Sequencing S = video score (ground→hips→torso→arm)- Consistency C = distance variance + foul rate- StrengthSupport SS = strength/power markers trend- Recovery Rec = sleep + fatigue trendPhase Estimator:IF ID controlled AND JR low AND S stable AND C improving → P3 driftIF JR rising OR S breaking at higher intent OR foul rate rising → P2/P1 warningIF injury stops throwing → P0 risk
6) Canonical Throws Repair Protocols
Protocol THR-A: “Arm-Dominant Throw (Elbow/Shoulder Risk)”
1) reduce intent temporarily; return to sequencing drills2) rebuild positions: power position + block/bracing3) add med-ball throws for safe sequencing power4) reintroduce throws with intent ladder (70→80→90%)5) cap max throws; maintain cuff/scap prehab
Protocol THR-B: “Foul/Consistency Collapse Under Pressure”
1) simplify cue to 1 target (e.g., rhythm into power position)2) short approach/entry to stabilize timing3) pressure reps: simulated rounds with consequence scoring4) rebuild routine: breath + cue + commit5) review: foul trigger moment, then retrain that segment
Protocol THR-C: “Back Pain Containment”
Trigger: back pain trend rising OR stiffness limits rotation1) reduce rotational load; switch to safer variants2) rebuild trunk stiffness + hip mobility control3) audit technique: bracing, block, excessive hyperextension4) gradual reintroduction with intent caps5) coordinate lifting: avoid stacking heavy pulls with max throws
7) SPOS↔CivOS Integration (Throws)
CivOS Link:- Throws are “tool-physics heritage” sports: they preserve and project ancient survival capabilities (throwing weapons/tools) into modern measured performance pipelines.- Brittleness risk: intent/volume spikes + poor sequencing → joint failure.- Repair: sequencing gates + intent governance + joint-prehab standards.
