Tutors by Country | How Tutoring Operates Around the World

This country-by-country series explains how tutoring operates alongside schools, assessments, examinations and learning support. Use the learner’s actual school, marking feedback and timetable to decide what a tutor should diagnose and teach. A country guide is not an advertisement for an eduKate centre in that country.

Published-index snapshot: 32 country guides verified against the World Tuition reference roster of 195 countries. This is an index of existing published articles, not a claim that the planned 195-country series is complete.

Start from the World Tuition Master Hub for tutor-selection by subject, or browse the parallel 195-country World English Tuition library. Jump to Asia · Africa · Americas · Europe · Oceania.

What parents should bring to a first tutoring consultation

Bring a real marked assignment, one task the learner cannot complete unaided, and the learner’s current school syllabus or programme. Ask a prospective tutor to identify the first weak prerequisite, teach one focused correction, then see whether the learner can apply it to a different question. Compare the tutoring format, feedback frequency and independent-practice expectations before choosing.

Four-week trial and learning evidence

Week 1: establish the learner’s starting errors and confidence. Week 2: repair the highest-priority prerequisite. Week 3: attempt an unfamiliar transfer question under ordinary school conditions. Week 4: compare marked evidence and decide whether teaching should continue, change direction, or stop. The best tutor choice depends on improvement, not generic promises of fast grades.

Checks that vary by country

Curricula, examination formats, tutor registration and child-safeguarding requirements vary. Verify current claims with the relevant school or education authority. The country guide may cover more than one school system, particularly where private, international and national programmes coexist. Confirm any real provider’s identity, fees, safeguarding, availability and qualifications directly.

Index entries link only to WordPress articles verified as published during this audit. Unpublished countries are omitted rather than linked to guessed addresses. Each article keeps its original canonical URL.
