Olympic Walk is on the Marina Bay Sands waterfront at Bayfront. From Bayfront MRT, use Exit C or D and follow the signs through The Shoppes towards the waterfront promenade or Event Plaza. Once outside, you can walk towards ArtScience Museum and continue to the Helix Bridge.

Youth Olympic Park is a separate stop on the Marina Centre side of the Helix Bridge. If you are meeting someone, agree whether you mean the Marina Bay Sands promenade or the park across the bridge. Use Event Plaza, ArtScience Museum or Youth Olympic Park as the meeting landmark.

  • Start at Bayfront MRT (CE1/DT16), Exit C or D.
  • Follow the waterfront or Event Plaza signs through The Shoppes.
  • Continue towards ArtScience Museum and the Helix Bridge.
  • Cross the bridge if your destination is Youth Olympic Park on the Marina Centre side.

From the MRT to the waterfront

Marina Bay Sands lists exits C and D for The Shoppes, Event Plaza and the waterfront promenade. Follow those signs after you tap out. Once you reach the waterfront, turn towards the white ArtScience Museum building if your next stop is the Helix Bridge.

For a short visit, use Event Plaza and the museum exterior as your two landmarks. This gives you a bayfront stroll even if you are saving the bridge and the Esplanade side for another day.

Olympic Walk and Youth Olympic Park

Olympic Walk refers to the Bayfront waterfront walkway by Marina Bay Sands. Youth Olympic Park is near the other end of the Helix Bridge. The People’s Association walking guide shows the park, the bridge and the waterfront promenade as separate points along the bay.

If you want to end on the Esplanade side, cross the bridge towards Marina Centre and use the park as the next waypoint. If your booking or meal is at Marina Bay Sands, you can turn back on the Bayfront side and return through The Shoppes.

Choose an easy meeting point or photo stop

For a skyline photo, pause on the promenade where you can see the financial district across the water. Step to the side of the path before stopping. At the bridge, use its viewing areas if you want to pause with a group.

Give friends the name of a landmark and the side of the bay. ‘Event Plaza outside The Shoppes’ and ‘Youth Olympic Park at the Marina Centre end of the bridge’ are two different instructions. For wet weather, you can use the mall as your initial meeting point.
