For a private car, agree on a door and share the vehicle registration. For an app-booked ride, check which pickup point is shown in the booking before going to the kerb. A taxi queue is a separate destination, so follow the appropriate airport signs for the transport you are taking.

Walking to the pickup doors
From baggage reclaim, complete the arrivals process and follow signs in the public area for Arrival Pick-up. Stay on Level 1 for the designated Terminal 2 pickup. If you see signs for Jewel or the MRT, check the pickup sign before taking another lift or escalator.
If your group has several bags, have everyone gather before stepping towards the kerb. Use the door number in your message once you can see it. A door that is correct for one terminal can send a driver elsewhere when the terminal number is missing.
Directions for the driver
Changi directs drivers on Airport Boulevard to keep right towards Terminal 2, then follow the signs for Arrival Pick-up at Level 1. Use the airport’s current road signs for the final approach. Ask the passenger to message once they are ready at the door.
Flight arrival time is useful for knowing whether the aircraft has landed. The passenger may still need time for immigration, luggage and the walk out. Agree when they will send a ready message so you can time the final approach.
Meeting on foot instead
If the plan is to greet someone on foot, choose a landmark inside Terminal 2 public Arrivals. If you are coming by MRT, follow Terminal 2 signs and then Arrivals. If you intend to meet the passenger at Jewel afterwards, send the Jewel landmark as a separate destination.
Keep the plan simple if someone is arriving with children or a trolley. Confirm the meeting location before they leave the public hall. Changing between a terminal entrance, a pickup door and Jewel can add several minutes even when they look close on a map.
If the arrival terminal changes
Use the flight number to check Changi’s arrival information. If the arrival moves to another terminal, replace the whole message with the new terminal, level and door. Terminal 2’s Level 1 instructions apply specifically to Terminal 2.
