CivOS Closed-Loop: Words → HD State → FenceOS → ChronoHelmAI → Stitching (with Shadow Atlas overlays)

Diagram ID: CivOS-DiagramSpec-ClosedLoop-001
Purpose: A single, stable description you can hand to any illustrator/LLM/image tool to generate the same diagram consistently. No images here—just the canonical spec.

1) Diagram Layout (global)

Canvas

  • Orientation: landscape
  • Main flow: left → right
  • Control loop: returns from right → left (feedback)
  • Use 4 vertical layers (bands) across the whole canvas:
  1. Sensors (top band)
  2. State Estimation (upper-middle band)
  3. Actuation (lower-middle band)
  4. Outcomes (bottom band)

2) Main Modules (left → right)

Box A (left): “LANGUAGE SENSORS”

Title: Language→Phase→Lane
Contents (bullets inside box):

  • Coupling cues: LEGIT↔MIL, INFO→POP, ECON→POP, DIP steerability
  • NIT = OffRampDeletion + CostSilence + MoralAbsolutism + TimeLock + Dehumanisation
  • PDS (Phase Drift Score)

Output arrow label (to Box B): Signals + NIT + PDS

Box B (center-left): “HD STATE ESTIMATION”

Title: HD Dashboard
Contents:

  • DERIV: dNIT/dt, dPDS/dt, d²Hardness/dt²
  • OFFRAMP: R_count, GateCost, R_diversity, R_latency
  • ALIGN: cross-lane triangulation
  • Z: Z_LOCK vs Z_FRACTURE
  • CS: Counter-Signal score
  • HD_STATE = {PDS, NIT, DERIV, OFFRAMP, ALIGN, Z, CS}

Output arrow label (to Box C): HD_STATE + Alerts

Box C (center-right): “ACTUATION”

Title: FenceOS (Truncation + Stitching)
Contents:

  • R = Ḋ/Ġ (rate dominance)
  • Θ = T_fence / T_repair
  • Λ = T_enforce / T_fence
  • Trigger if: R≥1 OR Θ≤1 OR DERIV_CRIT
  • Acts: PAUSE, OFFRAMP_OPEN, DECOUPLE, BUFFER_INJECT, CAPACITY_PROTECT
  • APRC: Truncation → Stitching → Relaxation

Output arrow label (to Box D): Constraints + Repair Routing

Box D (right): “SCHEDULING”

Title: ChronoHelmAI (CH/ai)
Contents:

  • Schedules tasks across Lane×Zoom×Time
  • Prevents collisions (counter-signals)
  • Stitching is mandatory dependency after truncation
  • Zoom-match gating: intervene at correct Z
  • Outputs: REPAIR tasks, BUFFER tasks, FENCE acts, UPGRADE programs

Output arrow label (to Outcomes band): Executed interventions

3) Outcomes Band (bottom row)

Bottom strip contains 3 outcome boxes (left → right)

Outcome O1: “SAFE BAND”

  • Label: Stable / Repairable
  • Condition: R<1, OFFRAMP available, NIT low
  • Note: CivY&Y ≥ Civλ·C(t)

Outcome O2: “DRIFT / BRITTLE”

  • Label: P2 → P1 risk
  • Condition: DERIV_WARN, OFFRAMP shrinking, NIT rising
  • Note: High variance sensitivity

Outcome O3: “IRREVERSIBLE REGION”

  • Label: P0 / Cascade
  • Condition: OFFRAMP_COLLAPSE + NIT_HIGH + coupling locks
  • Note: Recovery cost explodes

Arrows from CH/ai to each outcome:

  • default arrow to O1 (intended)
  • dashed warning arrow to O2
  • red (conceptually) arrow to O3 (failure)

(If you can’t use colours, use arrow styles: solid / dashed / double-line.)

4) Feedback Loop (right → left)

Return arrow from Outcome boxes back to Box A (Language Sensors)

Label on the return arrow: Observed results + new language + new structural moves

This shows the loop continues: the system re-senses its own actions.

5) Shadow Atlas Overlays (side layer)

On the far bottom-left corner (or as a side panel), add a “Shadow Atlas” box with five items:

Shadow Atlas: { WAR, CRIME, DEATH, CAPTURE, EXTREMISM }

Draw thin arrows from Shadow Atlas to:

  • HD Dashboard (they share sensors: NIT, OFFRAMP, CS, DERIV)
  • FenceOS (they trigger fences when thresholds crossed)

Label these arrows:

  • Shared sensors
  • Shared actuation triggers

6) Threshold Callouts (small tags attached to boxes)

Attach small callout tags:

  • Next to Box A (Language): NIT ≥ 3 = repair at risk
  • Next to Box B (HD): ALIGN high + OFFRAMP collapse = brittle band
  • Next to Box C (FenceOS): Θ ≤ 1 = fence now
  • Next to Box D (CH/ai): No collision scheduling

7) Minimal Caption (for the diagram)

Caption text (single paragraph):
CivOS is a closed-loop stability system. Language provides early coupling signals and the Narrative Irreversibility Threshold (NIT). HD Dashboard estimates state using derivatives, off-ramp topology, alignment, zoom consistency, and counter-signals. FenceOS actuates to prevent boundary crossings via truncation and stitching (APRC), using rate dominance and timing ratios. ChronoHelmAI schedules interventions across Lane×Zoom×Time to avoid collisions and preserve repair optionality. Shadow Atlas modules (war, crime, death, capture, extremism) reuse the same sensors and triggers.
