Find and compare schools
Browse 147 MOE-listed schools. Build a six-choice plan for Secondary 1 in 2027.
Historical scores: 2025 PSLE / 2026 intake. These are a guide. The 2027 cut-offs are not yet known.
Start with your child. Then compare the school day.
1. Add your details 2. Explore and compare 3. Arrange six choices
Add or change your child’s details
You can browse without a score. A score adds a historical comparison and shows the available Posting Group options.
Choose the Posting Group in the official eligibility letter. You can browse without entering a score.
More school filters
The score filter uses non-affiliated figures for your selected Posting Group, including IP when PG3 is selected. Higher Chinese and other admission conditions still need checking.
This checks programme availability in the dataset. It does not confirm admission, affiliation priority or SAP eligibility. Separate-application schools remain available through Browse directory or the Separate applications filter.
Look at the school day, as well as the score
Compare up to four schools. Check the journey at the time your child would actually travel.
My six-choice worksheet
Put the programmes in your genuine order of preference. This worksheet does not submit an application to MOE.
Your plan stays in this page unless you choose to save or download it. No name, contact details or home address are requested.
A calmer way to choose
A useful shortlist connects three things: the routes open to your child, the learning environment they want, and a school day your family can sustain.
Use the planner in three steps
- Help me shortlist: add a score if you have one, choose the Posting Group, then select Show schools for this plan. If two groups are available, choose one for this worksheet.
- Explore and compare: use a school name, interest or area to narrow the list. Compare up to four schools, then choose View / add choice to open a school directly.
- Arrange your six choices: add the programme you want from a school profile, then open My six choices. Check the journey and official option codes, reorder the list, and download or print it.
If you started from a school profile, entering your details will take you back to that school. Browse directory keeps your worksheet while resetting school filters. You can untick the Posting Group filter to explore other routes.
1. Start with the route
Use the Posting Group options in your child’s official eligibility letter. If your child can choose between two groups, the final S1 submission uses one group for all six choices. Integrated Programme (IP) is a programme, not a fourth Posting Group.
Schools with separate applications appear in the directory, but cannot be added to the S1 six-choice worksheet. If your child has been successfully allocated a school through DSA, follow that allocation’s instructions.

2. Read last year’s figures carefully
Lower PSLE AL totals are better. A historical range describes a past intake; its first number is not a minimum score you must reach. A child with a better score than that first number should not be excluded.
The last number is the historical cut-off point (COP). Meeting it does not guarantee admission: vacancies, the cohort’s choices and the applicable tie-breakers matter. We show numerical comparisons without assigning a chance of admission.
D, M and P mean Distinction, Merit and Pass in Higher Chinese. These markers must stay attached to SAP-school ranges. An asterisk (*) means the published COP reflects vacancies, rather than the actual score of the last student posted.
Affiliated figures are separate. Having a lower affiliated COP does not mean every applicant can use it. Check the affiliated primary school, programme, minimum requirements and choice-order rules. Some IP/SEC combinations have specific ordering provisions.

3. Compare a real school week
- Try the morning journey and ask about the return journey after CCA.
- Look for interests your child would enjoy developing, alongside subjects they may want later.
- Ask how the school helps students settle in, seek help and adjust subject levels.
- Check the current fees, programme requirements, campus and subject combinations directly with the school.
The MOE subject dataset describes subjects recorded at the institution. It is not a promise that a subject, level or combination is available to every pupil in 2027. CCA and programme lists are also dated snapshots.
4. Build and check the six choices
Choose programmes you would be happy to accept, order them honestly, and consider a spread of historical cut-offs with your child’s primary-school guidance. Do not describe a school as a guaranteed or “safe” place.
Keep IP and SEC programme choices distinct when a school offers both. Confirm the exact option code in the official submission system. This worksheet does not replace the eligibility letter or submit your choices.
